If your RAM sticks aren't loading properly, please set their voltage to 1.35v

More like embarrassing Intel
If that's embarassing then you should also say it's equally embarassing for AMD itself since the Ryzen 3 outperforms their RM 2,599 Ryzen 7 1800X on the exact same chart you show.

Look through the chart again - more embarassing for AMD actually IF we go from where you're coming from.

Also I've personally tested Ryzen 3 1200 at 3.1Ghz, 3.8Ghz and vs Ryzen 7 1800X using GTX 1080 card on Tomb Raider too but at 1440P, no difference in result.

So yeah, it's case by case and Ryzen is generally unable to compare to Intel processors when it comes to pushing graphics card 1080 and above, still fast but not the maximum.

-----------

On the other hand real-world work tests you'll see the Ryzen 3 indeed can perform as good as Core i5 models.

Yup it's that amazing. Love them Ryzen 3.

My video review is here, article on my website.

Wow performance better than ryzen 7 as well, omg!
That's overclocked settings, not every model can reach 4Ghz.

I got to 3.9Ghz on 1300X, 3.8Ghz on 1200.

Is there any ryzen 3 benchmark for gta5?
I didn't test it as GTAV I've dropped it from my benchmarks already BUT I can tell you that the Ryzen 3 would be like the Ryzen 5 and some Ryzen 7 - bottlenecks a GTX 1080 on GTAV.

biggrin.gif But well that's an overclocked kau kau processor.

Anyway if you're purely gaming, I'd say go Intel. Best to push graphics card.

If you do streaming or work, Ryzen's good. That's not to say Ryzen is bad for gaming, losing a few frames is a good compromise for speed of getting work done, sez my video + gaming rig.

As explained above I've tested both, same result
In fact, the flickering is even worse when using HDMI
Thanks, cos I also found that AOC322 model had some issues the other day at UTP event.

The screen keeps blacking out from time to time. Short black out, not sure if same thing or related.

Not only that. Other than software side, the physical hardware size also makes it a problem.
FE models, Zotac AMP models, and ASUS Strix or whatever models are 2-PCIE cards that can do 4 just fine, though it'll get roasty. biggrin.gif

That's why 4 card users often just settle with water blocks.

Get to review? Yes, I got it.

Get to keep? Nope. As you can see the unit doesn't come with my brand engraved on the box nor the processor.

TR is basically core count.

If you're running on software that uses less cores than what it offers then the Ryzen 7 setup is a better choice.

1. Difference is in the clock speed mainly. 1700 comes with cooler.

2. Core count I believe.

3. Yes. Restricted, as in brand compatibility. Ryzen boards have only 4 DIMM slots so you'll need 4x 16 to get 64GB.

It's not slight, it's VERY SUPER DUPER SLIM. biggrin.gif

RAM you have to go by referring to the QVL from board manufacturers.

Some RAM are not in QVL list but will still work.

Any chances our Ryzen price in Malaysia will drop too?
Your guess is as good as mine but going by past experience - I'd say forget about it.

AMD RX Vega price also like crazy. tongue.gif

But if price really drops then good la but also don't know when, maybe only when Ryzen 2000 series hits the market.

Hi guys, want to ask. Will a rx550/560 bottleneck an A10 7700K?
As in? I don't think they'll affect one another.

RX 550 is not a strong card. smile.gif

goldfries how's the RGB cooler working? didn't manage to ask yesterday during stream.
*
Oh the cooler is good, just that Ryzen 7 2700X is a hot processor.

With that cooler can do 4.1Ghz reasonably stable. 4.2Ghz I hit a limit, suspect due to cooler limitation.
