come to think of it, these few days google play service keeps trigger wakelock on my phone (don't know what it is trying to sync, just sync halfway and stuck there throughout the night without realizing), which has never happen before even with auto sync data and location reporting on. any of you guys experience this?
*
they are trying to trigger an ALARM signal to get your location.

I still get a ton of Wakelocks showing up in BetterBatteryStats
Short version: Those aren't really wakelocks. You can ignore them. Please go check in WakeLock Detector, and you'll see that they don't show up there.

Long version: Admittedly, I don't know *exactly* why they're showing up in BBS, but not in Wakelock Detector. I did a ton of testing today and can confirm that my device showed 988 NlpWakeLocks in BBS, but only 20 in WLD. During that time, I also had logcat running and a custom hook in the Android stats code. Logcat didn't show any of those phantom wakelocks, the Android stats code doesn't record them, NlpUnbounce doesn't see them, and WLD doesn't see them. BBS is [awesomely] open source, so I went digging a bit. I don't see anything obviously wrong in the code, but for some reason it's getting the counts wrong. Here's the interesting piece: It's getting the TIME SPENT in the wakelocks correct. That's why you see something absurd like 2000 wakelocks and only 6 seconds of lock time. If it were really that many wakelocks, your lock time would be much, much higher.

Guys whats the best way to get Nexus 5 in msia? satugadget? anyone bought it there?
another question is anyone of you using white nexus? does it gets dirty easily? what about the glossy bezel okay?

was thinking about waiting for the next ten nexus be it 6/x/shamu~ but saw the 6" screen totally turn me off~ hopefully like some of you guys say they will be a 5.2 and 6 inch version~ don't want too big~

been looking at one plus one~ but due to the size i decide to think about nexus 5 instead

Just go and and get one from satugadget. Being at the end of run the price is good. Anything new will come with a new price which will be tagged with some premium which to my mind is not worth the slight upgrade in processor. Android OS is oredi matures as is.

Batt life is not so bad after it has settled in. Just got one meself when they told me that they didnt have any 16GB moto G that I went calling for so I opted for the Nex5 Black (with RM30 premium at satugadget).

Then go and get a cheap bumper from low yat

Yes but I think DialogHub offers a more comfortable environment as it is not so crowded so you can also take your time to check the phone and can have a look at their Liquipel demo etc.

Agree. I got my N5 from DialogHub as well. Price wise similar to other shop. Not too crowded and the attention given by the sales guy is better.

No *ehem*, the partial wakelock (for me) is copresGcore_EventLoop. Checked around some xda threads. Seems ok for now after I disable some of the services and receivers.

if you google this wakelock, the most possible thread is this which would point you to this thread which will lead you to this post. However, his post was posted around early Sept, so he said he'll do more testing around and post his findings.

if you use xposed, try Unbounce. Lesser wakelocks.

I can confirm Unbounce does improve battery life without interrupt your apps operation, as it delay wakelock.
