I used to own 2 HTC Magic, 1 HTC Hero all no issue for me. Reason for 2 Magic was the first I bought had latest firmware and thus unhackable, sold it and get another that's hackable

Maybe that's the only thing can consider 'upgrade', not much innovation available anymore. Even Apple left with increase display size option, and called it whole year of development and hardwork

Typical deal here. Weak consumer right. You buy something likes gambling. If it's good, then saves the headache for warranty. If it's not, daily nightmare to get it rectified.

If you are buying Samsung device, buy Ori set. My Galaxy Nexus had mobo failure also. Sent in the evening. Tomorrow evening got message it has been repaired. I didnt have time so i went for the next day.

So its around 1-2 days only. And of kos, send it to the Samsung center directly that have technician ready. Not some retail shop.

And of course, it depends on the parts availability and how many devices currently handled by the technician.

I don't care the rest, atm.....

Directd replace my HTC motherboard n got it back within 10 days. Sometimes this depend on MB availability n if yours is AP set probably need to send back to original country it was imported from

That;s the risk of getting an AP set... Solely depends of the shop.

Anyone using JustArchi + Saber toolchain rom? Notice any increase performance or just placebo?

Wifi stuck at Turning Wi-Fi on again... Read on xda this is a hardware issue. Haihz dah la this phone is an AP Set.. Warranty is a problem

What do you suggest I do?

I encountered this before when I was on some custom ROM..but issue gone after I reflashed to stock..

Let's be fair - the iPhone ecosystem has some advantages over Android. The iPhone may not have the best features, but at least almost the features it does have is good and well-implemented. The iPhone has a good stable OS, no carrier bloatware, and great sound quality and camera. It's perfect for people who just want a phone that works. Plus it integrates well with Mac/OSX.

Whereas look at the main Android flagships:

- Nexus 5: The loudspeaker has poor sound quality compared to my SGS4 Active. Warranty in Malaysia is so hard to get too. The IPS screen is good, but the viewing angles aren't as good as some other flagships.

- S5, S4, Note, etc: Internally they have good hardware and great screens. But you get touchwiz bloatware that causes lag, especially with the Gallery/Camera apps.

- HTC One M8: Great screen but only 4MP camera. Even though they claim it's "Ultrapixel" it's just marketing speak.

- XiaoMi: Very cheap and good hardware, but I really dislike the MIUI skin.
