Anybody know why silver breaking new ATH last few days while gold inching up?

Thanks. Do you guys usually stack gold coins? bars?
What's the weight to consider? Or consider spread% first? Anything below 3% good?

For example, lets say you have RM20k budget, do you get 5gx6, 10gx3, 20gx2 + 10gx1, or 1oz?

the silver story is the biggest one now. i have posted many comments previously.

maybe not many people interested in the devil's metal. india is the #1 silver buyer now.

20k, just get a 1oz bar or coin. most popular size, easier to sell in future.

small denominations carry higher spread.

Do you really need physical?
Go buy the silver ETF, SLV.

Say if budget is 30k, then go with 50g.
Or budget 12k, go with something 20g.

Also:
avoid buying at jewelry shop, buy at bullion traders, better price.
avoid buying those "special editions, anniversaries" at higher price - they get same selling price as the normal ones.

this one, i see the 1kg silver prices as pretty good, comparable to Silver Bullion.

the tricky thing now is there's a growing shortage of silver for retail investors as big players now snapping up everything they can find.

india, saudi, russia, usa, tesla, samsung all buying while china stops exporting on 1 jan 2026.

latest reports indicate even 1oz coins & bars are now getting scarce.

premium over spot prices probably has increased by now.

price has to be better in Oz.

malaysia has import duty + SST for silver.

so, hide them properly if u bring back!

For silver bar? No duty i think? Only for silver coins.

OR maybe i will just store them in Perth.
