One last question for the casing...

Wouldn't the acrylic side rattle if it was thin

Actually it looks really good as it is now. Nonid to respray the whole thing. Pity him lar. Oredi spent so much then hafta spend again to get it to like it does now.





No it doesn't rattle at all. I mounted it in such a way that it wont b a problem. I doubt any1's PC cud rattle that panel unless they were using Delta fans. Even then, there is a way to sort out vibrations.

Wokeh. It's finally done. Project 911 is now complete. The Phoenix has risen from the ashes.


Shots of it in the dark. It's got dual lighting. Blue LEDS from the fans n a set of CM white CCFLS.



Combo with both white n blue lights. With the white lights on, the wiring is very noticeable. I had such a nightmare managing the wires in this rig coz the PSU is a really ol skool type with extremely short wires. It also had only 4 molex plugs. I messed around with the wiring for about 2 hours n that's really all I can do for it. Looks decent enuf I guess.

Sum final shots of the overall rig. Cleaned up all the handprints n dust. Looks brand new now after all that corrective surgery.









Last minute change here. I painted the fan grill matt black for a nicer look. It was chrome in the earlier pix.

as good as it is... the fact that the cuts on the chassis itself cant be fully repaired is really sad... imagine the owner's feeling everytime he opens up the case and the stupid cuts are still there...

personally id prefer if the bolts for the acrylic side panel were black. wont stand out so much

WOAH!! Awesome dude!! really good work!! Anyways, have u figured out how to turn the CM case upside down and inside out? My current casing does no justice to what's inside lolx. I got a Cheapo 75 ringgit casing just to put allow my new system to sit in lolx. Let me know k =) Tks man hehe

1 question, how you bolt the arcylic on the side? Using bolt n nuts or screw onto the chassis? So if want to open it, must unscrew the four bolts.

KIIIIIIIIIIIIILAT ah uncle.... uncle, how u clean off the handprints? use what to wipe? 7-year-never-wash-socks? My acrylic also handprints and dust all over after last nite's set up.
