Ya lar. I memang work super fast 1, just that I got pwned by the stupid new pillow n then rain rain rain. C now 3 days of nice weather oni done. It was just really unlucky circumstances that led to such a big delay in Project 911


Anyway, I'm in the process of uploading pix to photobucket right now. Updates shud b up in about an hour.

Updates.........................

All panels n acrylic haf been cut to size n detail work done. It's now time to assemble the case back into shape.

Here's a continuation from yesterday's work. The top bar being put back onto the case in 2 separate pieces to accomodate the top window. Using the rivet gun to rivet it back into place.













Cutting the top window acrylic n blowhole.










The side window acrylic. This piece required an incredible amount of measuring, over n over again coz the gap is just so so so tiny n I hafta get it just perfect for the acrylic window to sit nicely on the panel. The slightest miscalculation wud mean a whole new piece of acrylic is needed again. U can c how small the gap is, between the d shaped handle n the metal panel where the acrylic has to cover in the 1st pic. 2nd pic is after cutting the acrylic n luckily for me, after all that measuring, it fits perfectly 1st time round.












All the acrylic pieces r done. The big square piece on the left is for the panel behind the mobo









Now it's time to install the top window.

After that I installed the top panel back onto the case with rivets all around.






N voila! Here's the completed case. No more dents, dings, scrapes n twisted metal. Fully recovered from the disastrous previous mod. Not only recovered but also surgically enhanced by my plastic surgery skills.
















U can c in this pic how I've aligned the top window with the side window. The front n back portions match up exactly for a proper factory look. Actually I do this for all complete case mods with side n top windows. Gives it just that little bit of extra finishing touch.

Here's the other side panel for the bit behind the mobo. Prepping it for a few coats of black paint in this pix.






I've actually painted it black already but I havent taken any pix yet coz I'm leaving the panel to dry overnight b4 I mount it on the other side 2moro. More updates 2moro together with all the hardware inside. I will also be doing the internal bling bling 2moro.

Hehehe. The project isn't complete yet. Only the case is done for now. 2moro is when the whole Project 911 will b complete. Hardware, lights n wire management will b done 2moro. Oh yeah, the side panel behind the mobo as well.
