A forumer here with Moto X(2nd gen) already update through OTA to Lollipop. Not sure official or just soak test.

The current update for all Moto X 2014 are all through soak test. Some of the Moto apps haven't been been materialized (always want to use this word ) yet. So proper update might be slightly longer.

Looks like it's official update. Now OEM smart they put their app on playstore for easy upgrading. Not to much hassle like last time.

Nexus 4 is no longer the device getting fast update. No android L, even cm11 m12 is out for other device but not nexus 4.
