If you're coming from an amoled phone before this then yeah nexus 4 will seem a little washed out in comparison.

First thing, unlock your bootloader "warning unlock bootloader will full wipe your phone".
flash custom recovery.
flash supersu for root
flash custom kernel that support screen mod such like hellscore kernel. some said can use trickster but I never use trickster before.

after downloading few roms and flashing and flashing and flashing, now i found the cause, its becos i plug in the pressy and didnt install the apps, so the phone detected an earpiece

i heard franco kernel is good for the screen...is that true ? ...will it fix the washed out color ? .... i hate to see the screen like that...

Most custom kernel can adjust the colour setting. Just flash a custom and use kernel manager like tricksterMOD to adjust the screen to your liking.

Hi gurus, help pls, my nexus 4 4.4.4 always lose the gps signal when i put it on my lap when using waze, unless i bring it up and face it toward the windscreen. Whats wrong with it? Thanks.

I defitnately need a phone with bigger battery. Might ditch nexus, Considering z3 since its the battery test seems good.

It's like that. N4 GPS antenna is at the back cover. If you put it on your lap, of course your body 'block' GPS signal from above. Another factor is your car's tint. Metallic tint do block significant amount of signal coming through. Hence your N4 receive faint signal.

Thanks very much fren, my car windows are all tinted with uv protection. That might be the caused. I thought my unit gone faulty or some apps make it miss behaved.now im worryless.
