Hi, I'm looking for a headphone or headsets that cost less than RM300. There are 2 models in my mind, Logitech G230 and Razer Kraken Pro.
Need one for both gaming and music
Or can you guys recommend any others beside these 2?
Thanks.

I previously owned a pair of ATH M50s. but i find my ears sweaty and i think the cupping force is abit too strong, so it feels quite uncomfortable after about 1 hour use.

Is it normal for ALL headphones to be like that, or is there any other headphones that have better comfort, around the same budget/sound quality?

You might be sensitive to strong clamping force and pleather pads, you can either change the headphone or just lessen the clamping force by stretching it for abit and get the pads changed to velour pads.

It is not all the headphone like that.

Good morning to all

Greetings as I'm new to this side of audio. I would like to request your advise for some recommendations for an audio setup.

- Your rig : Computer CPU / Laptop
- What type of usage: : Gaming & music (70%), Movies etc (30%)
- File format used in your source : FLAC, MP3
- Genre of music you listen to : Considerable to all types except heavy metal
- Headphone/ earphone type : Open or circumaural (Please advise what is the performance difference?)

- Other requirements : A) 5.1 or 7.1 ch
B) Relatively simple equipment setup to handle (for audiophile newbie, no issues studying manuals, details etc)
C) Gaming 3D positioning available

Budget: RM1k and below

Generally i'm looking for a hybrid ish audio setup. Not top notch given my understanding on the limitations between pure audio and gaming headphones so I'm willing to compromise in performance for the required features.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you

Regards,
Marksman

Go with Audio Technica AD900X and Asus Xonar Essence STX, clean, not too linear sound, big soundstage, crisp sounding and awesome instruments seperation. Or perhaps AKG K612 Pro if you prefer brighter sound presentation and more intimate sound.

Or if you want that has a mic attached to it, Sennheiser G4ME One is a very good choice. Although I would prefer AD900X over G4ME One due to slightly better 3D positioning when gaming. Seperate your budget like RM700 for headphones and RM300 for DAC/soundcard, although if your motherboard has a decent onboard audio, it should be good for now, when have budget for upgrade, go with STX or STX II if got more to spend notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

it's closed can... which is why the cupping force is strong... so it has more noise isolation... not really... if you try the open cans like AD700... it's totally different as well...

- Your rig - iPhone 6+/One Plus One/Macbook Pro
- What type of usage - Music
- File format used in your source - MP3 , no space for FLAC sad.gif sad.gif
- Genre of music you listen to - Pop, rock, acoustic
- Headphone/ earphone type - Over ear headphones
- Other requirements (if any) - Bluetooth headphones, preferably with a mic and NC

Budget around 1.3k +-, the cheaper the better, was looking at the Parrot Zik 2.0. Any thoughts? Or other recommendations?

Thanks in advance smile.gif

Hey there, can you guys help me buying a birthday present for a friend of mine.
He loves music so I'm looking for a superb quality headphone to suprise him.
My budget would be RM200 and below.
- Rig : smart phones, laptop
- What type of usage : music, games but more focus on musics.
- File sources : MP3
- Genre of music : Electronic Dance Music(EDM) mostly. A decent bass would be great.
- Type : Closed Headphone
*and also if you dont mind can you tell me where I can get it since I'm really new and dont know where to look for it.
