I'm wondering which earphone is good for long run

ATH-IM50 or FAD Adagio III (Will use this with my HTC One S, or through my PC)

3 things I'm looking at
-Comfort
-Durability
-Sound Quality (I'm used to listen to music with my AD900X, prefer something similar with a little bit more in the sub-bass region)

If ur looking for best value for money, at the moment I would say the Fidue a71. Beats both the Im50 and adagio III without much of a challenge.

If not, u can try looking out for the Vsonic GR07BE as well. Or, if u can get a good deal, try the T-Peos altone 200 which is brighter and has a nice quality to its bass (but if ur sensitive to bright earphones, stay away from the altones)

Not sure where to find Fidue in malaysia, but between those 2, which is better for long run?

WTA

Beyerdynamic Custom One Pro or DT770 Pro 80 Ohms, just want to compare the sound quality only, not the price, and what do you guys think of the sound signature for both headphones, and which you prefer.

Thanks smile.gif

Hi guys I'm looking for a new headphone. Currently I'm using logitect G430 headset. Sound qulaity is ok. But it's a bit wonky. The volume knob have some problem.

My Rig = Desktop Computer
Usage = Movie (80%) and Gaming (20%)
Headphone type = prefer headset to cover the whole ear; doesn't like the one to be on your ear. Preferable to have mic as well.
Budget = RM100 - RM400

Try and check the HyperX Cloud, seems like a very solid choice nod.gif

Good morning to all

Greetings as I'm new to this side of audio. I would like to request your advise for some recommendations for an audio setup.

- Your rig                                    : Computer CPU / Laptop
- What type of usage:                  : Gaming & music (70%), Movies etc (30%)
- File format used in your source    : FLAC, MP3
- Genre of music you listen to        : Considerable to all types except heavy metal
- Headphone/ earphone type        : Open or circumaural (Please advise what is the performance difference?)

- Other requirements                    : A) 5.1 or 7.1 ch
                                                    B) Relatively simple equipment setup to handle (for audiophile newbie, no issues studying manuals, details etc)
                                                    C) Gaming 3D positioning available

Budget: RM1k and below

Generally i'm looking for a hybrid ish audio setup. Not top notch given my understanding on the limitations between pure audio and gaming headphones so I'm willing to compromise in performance for the required features.

Looking forward to your response.

Thank you

Regards,
Marksman

Go with Audio Technica AD900X and Asus Xonar Essence STX, clean, not too linear sound, big soundstage, crisp sounding and awesome instruments seperation. Or perhaps AKG K612 Pro if you prefer brighter sound presentation and more intimate sound.

Or if you want that has a mic attached to it, Sennheiser G4ME One is a very good choice. Although I would prefer AD900X over G4ME One due to slightly better 3D positioning when gaming. Seperate your budget like RM700 for headphones and RM300 for DAC/soundcard, although if your motherboard has a decent onboard audio, it should be good for now, when have budget for upgrade, go with STX or STX II if got more to spend notworthy.gif notworthy.gif

Hi, I'm looking for an over the ear headphones (as my ear gets hot fast). My budget is not more than RM300. I prefer a headphone that is foldable or has a good portability  as I may be travelling a lot. Thanks

I would recommend the HyperX Cloud, not foldable but can be stored with the carrying pouch or something that they include, build quality perhaps is the same as the sound quality, solid rock cool.gif

- Your rig: laptop mostly
- What type of usage: music, gaming, movies
- File format used in your source: mp3, some FLAC
- Genre of music you listen to: various electronica, metal, indie
- Headphone/ earphone type: over ear, preferred closed (if u know what i mean)
- Other requirements: would like a good mic
- Budget: RM 400

I have my eyes on the Sennheiser PC320, seems to have a really good mic but the only problem is its open ear

HyperX Cloud 2 probably is the best choice for your budget, can check out some online reviews. Since you are using on laptop most of the time, I would recommend getting the newer version rather than older version due to the included USB soundcard, since most old laptops have crappy dac+amp built in

yea i have been eyeing that since forever, but the mic really sucks, i have been in a dilemma for over 2 weeks on which to buy, white hair literally growing. I just cant be bothered anymore and bought the hyperx cloud 2 from lazada for around rm 314 including the 10% off discount, hope i dont regret  icon_rolleyes.gif

Honestly that's quite the deal that even I want, but quite dangerous for my wallet if can't stop buying cry.gif , so I'm staying low for now. Enjoy your Cloud 2 when it arrives cool.gif

Hi I need some help to compare between these 2 headsets. Not sure whether this is suitable for this teredz

SteelSeries 3Hv2 vs Logitech G230

SS is on ears whilst the logitech are overears
Scouted price on lelong
SS RM185 VS Logitech RM179 (Both with Shipping)
Retractable mic vs Boom mic

Looking for day to day use, long hours (ie. for work). Mic is important for potential gaming purposes.

Any opinions, or recommendations? Budget <RM250

Honestly both will not sound as good as headphones from other manufacturers that fits your budget, but if comparing between these 2, the Logitech will suffice

Budget:RM 350
Rig:Lenovo s410p,Zenfone 2 and Galaxy Grand
Type of usage:Mainly for music and some for gaming
Format used:Mostly MP3 320kbps
Genre music i listen:Pop (mostly K-Pop),R&B,80's&90's,Instrument
Headphone type:Over-ear
Other requirement:Wanted the shape similar to MDR-1R or Razer Kraken Pro Neon

currently looking at Razer Kraken Pro Neon.. It is suitable for listening to music or nah??
*
HyperX Cloud will be a much more solid choice when compared to Kraken Pro. I'm not sure whether you want rectangle shaped like MDR-1R or circle shaped like the Kraken's, but 1R is definitely 3X more comfy than the Kraken

thanks for your opinion... by the way MDR-1R are far way from my budget.. and HyperX Cloud are more to gaming side.. so i didn't like it too much and i searching for everyday use for music and a little bit gaming.. (since i don't have much time to play it)  do you think Kraken Pro suitable for my requirement?  icon_question.gif

The Kraken sounds terrible when compared to HyperX Cloud, and the mic is detachable, im not sure what you mean by 'more to gaming side' since the Kraken looks more nerdy imo cool.gif
