Hi guys,
Looking for wireless gaming headset with detachable mic - must be overear.

My budget is RM100-RM200 - my use cases:
1) Gaming PC at home - Cyberpunk, mostly single player AAA games with some casual multiplayer games with friends like COD, Dota etc.
2) I would also like to have the wireless bit so that I can go to the gym (powerlifting - bench/squat/deadlifts) with them.

I'm not too particular on microphone quality at all.

Thanks!!

Any recommended wireless earphones for sports around RM150?

Prioritizing good fit in ear, durability, long battery life and usb-c port

Hello everyone, it's been some time I have been appearing in this scene.
Revisited due to my discovery on our current state of tech, that is worth mentioning.

As you can see we are transitioning to Lossless Music Stream that will spook more people to enjoy how the music is meant to be. I have been using Tidal but honestly I don't enjoy it, due to the silly interface, lousy offerings (I don't really like R&D and hip hop) and constant error popping out. I am fully transitioning to Apple Music like a fan boy and never regretted.

Recent exploration into Apple lossless, their high-res lossless, honestly they have done a very good job, mostly satisfied with their album choices, their fees and I do listen to a little of Mandarin classic, Apple Music has then, not Tidal.

Just a very important note, a bluetooth headphone can never achieve optimum hearing experience based on current tech. So when you want to access to their high res, you really need a USB DAC. The difference is DAY and NIGHT shocking.gif One good recommendation is Fiio BTR5, it is affordable at this moment of time.

So now we have to trilemma fixed... A good set of wired headphones, a reasonably affordable DAC and cheap source of unlimited high res music and off you go. Good times for audiophiles.

Now, go back into my music enjoyment. biggrin.gif

You could also setup your very own lossless stream via Foobar2000 UPnP server. brows.gif

Is there any headset that have a lot of connectivity?
3.5m jack/bluetooth/usb/wireless/nicely setting out of the box(no need adjust eq/bass alot) and suitable for gaming too. All in one

I have 4 headphone now and thinking to sell all of it and buy the ultimate headset. Headphone that i use
1) sony ch510 - its quite good for music/youtube and cheap .cons only bluetooth
2) razer nari ultimate. That haptic feedback is not what i actually expecting..kind of annoying too. Cons - no bluetooth and sound is not that great. Not as clear as ch510/blackshark
3) sony pulse 3d - was buying to play with ps5. For ps5 its ok but music not good.Cons no bluetooth
4) razer blackshark v2x - the only headphone i like. Cheap/nice design/sound good/good mic but no bluetooth

Dear sifus, need recommendation on headphone:

- Budget: RM400-500? Can stretch further if the model is worth it.
- Rig: Laptop, phone.
- Usage: Music, gaming, movies.
- File format: MP3, MP4, MKV, etc.
- Genre of music: EDM, Pop, Rock.
- Headphone type: Open/Closed.

- Other requirements
Need to be comfy, as i will use it for longer period during photo editing, watching movies, gaming, etc.
Bluetooth is good to have, but it is ok if dont have. Will use more on wired one.
Dont want too heavy bass.
No need ANC.
No need MIC as i can buy separate if needed.

Should i try on planar headphone like Hifiman he400se?

Welcome back!

But yes I think with the launch of Apple Music Lossless tier, many 'anti MQA' consumers will now be willing to give AM a try and we will definitely see a spike of new music enthusiast(s) or new-audiophiles emerging - it's a good transition indeed.

Love the convenience and this is a very easy penetration into the scene, compared to the conventional method.

If you dont mind the wait, then can get the Drop PC38X as they're using same driver as GSP500 but is cheaper. Bear in mind shipping and custom fees. If worry about warranty then just go for the local GSP500.

PC37X has a great deal on refurbished set at 85USD, if you don't mind B-stocks.

the most important thing is that the list of headset that i wish to upgrade to will make me have a different listening compare to my current hyper x cloud ii.

also i will buy at shopee also.

I am glad to be back, just me has many hobbies and spend time on each and every of them plus I have many commitments to families. devil.gif

But I don't give up good music! Technology advancement certainly make things more accessible and affordable. Millions of lossless songs at your fingertips?

Another option is to download the songs in apple music. Im not sure downloaded song is what quality. The quality setting is not as detailed as tidal. They just say high quality only.

Massdrop actually still can. Depends on products. The gaming pc38x and pc37x they can ship. But hd58x and hd6xx they cannot, because pantrade claimed exclusive distributor rights for Malaysia and Singapore.

Hi all,

I'm looking for DT 770 PRO 32 ohm, doesn't matter second or brand new.

I'm also looking for someone to perform detachable cable mod on it.

Please help recommend me a shop/person that can do this.
