Something like This will be very helpful for you I guess skip the lower price range part.

Can consider Beyerdynamic DTX501P. It is on ear, quite comfortable for wearing. But the cable is not detachable. Sound wise quite clean with strong dynamic and punchy bass. Other wise, can also consider M40X, it's foldable with detachable cable, size is bigger.
Can consider ATH IM70. The sound stage is large, clean with good amount of bass. Not as warm and bassy as the brother IM50 but suitable for the music genre that you listen.
Can also consider Ostry KC06A if you are looking for better details IEM with tighter bass.
Can consider Superlux HD681 Evo if you don't mind semi open. Or Superlux HD669 for close back.
Audio Technica M30X is also another option.

In terms of technicality, Superlux has better performance such as details, separation, sound stage.
In terms of musicality, Ath is better. It has smoother sound and more mature sound tuning. Build quality is better.
Can consider Superlux HD381 series. With good clarity and details that hardly find on other IEM at the same price range.

And as psychoactive said, for that price range you could go with a CIEM, unless you want to share your iem with others a lot or plan to sell it (CIEMs can be really hard to sell since the buyer will have to reshell to use)

For universal fits I'd suggest ATH CRK9/CRK10, ATH IM series (IM50 and IM70 for dynamic drivers, better for bass heavy music    IM01, IM02, IM03, IM04 for are extremely good), Shure SE535. Westone Adventure Series, Ultimate Ears UE900 .... etc
I think you can test them out at E1 Personal Audio and Jaben 

Edit: Just realized you want to pair with your phone. 
You could get a good DAP (for example ibasso DX 50 or Fiio X1/X3 2nd gen) and still have a lot to spare for an iem

Yup. Just to pair with my note 4. Convenience purpose. Will be inconvenience to get a independent music (Exp ibasso DX 50) and when people call have to manually switch to answer phone  .

Prefer good earphone pair with my note 4.

JH Audio JH13 Pro Freqphase & AKG K3003i in my radar now.

Or is it pure waste to get those and pair with my note 4 ?

Or just get Bose QC 20 as beginner to play around with and up to JH Audio JH13 Pro Freqphase or AKG K3003i + ibasso DX 50 later on

Better get a good earphone now rather than getting the Bose 
Since you're planning to spend quite a lot, it would be better if you actually try em out (especially with your note 4) before deciding.
I tried the JH-5 with an ibasso DX50, and I didn't like it at all. I liked my IM01 a lot more while the JH-5 actually has better sound quality.
(But the roxanne is a different story, it's probably the best from I've tried so far  )

What kind of earphone are you looking for though? Bass heavy, good vocals etc etc.
And since you had your eyes on a noise cancellation Bose model, I'm assuming you're going to use for traveling?

Seems ear bud type is harder to get than the in ear type

Thinking of upgrading iem. Currently using ue tri fi 10. Tried shure 535 very like it. Any other recommendation before I finalize to shure 535. Budget around the price of shure 535 or slightly more.

have you tried any of the newer hybrids ie Dunu DN2000, Fidue A83 etc
