how do wiz counter perdition in high GR, ive pulled off timed tele before but that isnt reliable
don tell me perditions are instant GR fail for wiz

Predition is a heavy animation rift guardian. He is like a Naruto that calls out his spell name before he executes his spell.

To counter it, when he stops attacking, hide behind the wall, he will blink stike on you, unharmed.
The alternative counter is, if calamity is your rune for teleport, teleport to him and stun him first before he does.

Wizzard don't seems to be very popular.. just got the expansion during the 50% off.. now starting to build my wiz..

For me, I have a lot of fun playing Wiz.
Wiz is one of the best in terms of burst damage, the synergy of resource, gears and skills .
It is very fun to play Wiz.

IMO, it is not popular in high grift due to lack of crowd control and persistent burst damage over time (Wiz's burst damage skill consumes a lot of resources, as compared to DH's sentries).

Just a note, this build is not very effective in high grift (especially in solo game) due to lack of crowd control. People normally use blizzard in high grift.
For normal T6 rift/bounty, this build just melts all mobs.

I am only on T2 bounty / rift currently
was playing a fire build before this.
Blizzard/blackhole/hydra.. seems a bit boring as I am actually cast my skill and wait only.. My DH friend seems to do all the damage haha..

I just swap to another build that does wave of force build, still trying to get used to it..

Got lucky yesterday, found a good glove and chest armour..
Still trying to look for a good 1h + offhand weapon, not sure how should to look for offhand as 2h always seems to give superior dps (when you mouse over)

Been playing a lot of DH M6 lately and really wanted some fresh air... I had a furnace dropped pre 2hd buff patch... After the 2hd buff patch, the furnace was just too good to be sitting in my stash collecting dust.. It was int and I was contemplating between WD and Wiz.. WD didn't really / never did suit my taste so I went with wiz and I was astounded with what the wiz can do ... My current build is a cookie cutter type... Firebird furnace ... Elites / RG melt within 5secs in a T4 Rift and my items aren't even close to BiS and yet to use any legendary gems... Gems that will be used are Zei's and baneofpower Can't wait to do more wiz !!

I could have racked up the furnace dps to 3.9k but I needed the Vit....

About your question.... Read somewhere on offiial forums, Yes, you can get killed in a grift trial...

Played my wiz afew days back..Found Tal Rasha's helm on Sat..omg...so fun!

Free meteor based on damage type! haha Cold meteor triggered from my Scoundrel's buriza! cool sial!

Totally agree that is a very fun build to play... All kinds of elemental meteor dropping down... Was playing this build before switching to firebird set... Tal Rasha build lacks DPS compared to firebird build... Wish Blizz would buff other sets items to be on par with the OP ones... Diversity !!!

While the combo is great, but it will never beat the pure firebird.

Having such combo requires a RoRG, and thus you will need to sacrifice either Unity or Stone of Jordan.

The maximum Greater Rift with such combo is around lvl 36.

Me toooo...You'd miss all the fun, if no meteors dropped on your wake, you're not a wizard . I even used EE (since i could proc all the meteors) and Audacity. Been tanking on T6 with goldwrap/boon of hoarder. It's never been this much fun. Unity? Nah, standing on multiple explosions? Duh, but watch out for your toughness and the gold of course. Sory, no grift, no gold there
