For those that say why only 8 megapixel, read this..
http://www.gizmag.com/camera-sensor-size-guide/26684/

And read what HTC said about sensor size instead of megapixel.

About A8 processor, as far as I know, A7 dual core processor is running faster than Snapdragon 800 quad core processor. Go read up the comparison video and charts.
Please it's not like ur Toyota 1800cc engine must be more powerful than VW's 1300 engine.

It's not like the lens is protruding an inch. Maybe kinda like the iPhone 4/4s? A normal case would do.

Sometimes, technology is available but they purposely stall it for future releases. Let's say if you have technology A, B and C (C being most advanced) but you don't have D yet, they will release A or B at most, and wait for D before releasing C. If they release to the most advanced technology available, next year if no new technology, their annual profit cycle goes down the drain.

Exactly. I miss those old days when they bring out innovation after innovation (unibody design, multi touch, app store...)

Thank you for pointing this out. A lot of people are obsessing over things they know nothing about, or petty things. A lot of nitpicking here.

Anyway, there is always a limit to what kind of "innovation" you expect from the Developers. I think the developers are already cracking their head in coming with new innovations but sometimes, its hard to improve something that is already excellent. I do not mean hardware but rather the software and phone capabilities.

I think there's a LOT of drawing board to do for Tim Cook. For the price of RM2599, this ain't appealing. I mean it's a good product but their specs is obviously the same as those medium-tier range.

Prefer 3GB RAM , 30MP Camera , 64GB for the price of RM2599 is even more delicate to the consumer market.

Good luck though...

Regarding scratch, there is always a high quality screen protector that can protect you from all those for many years. Save cost. But that's up to how you perceive your brand. Formerly Apple user.
