QUOTE(Xonius @ Sep 9 2014, 10:38 AM) I moved to SJ around 25 years ago, that time, still no USJ, kelapa sawit all around, people complained it was 'very far' from KL, lel. I recall when subang parade first open...my folks so eager to travel from bangsar to see the complex. My first stop was toy r us.Remembered there was only some traffic, and the roundabout near SS19, subang parade was the go place to shop around. Anyone got pics of the town's progress from years back? Nostalgia. |

Nowadays Sunway area can call Little Jakarta.
1 because of the bad traffic jam, another because the mall seems to be populated by Indonesian Chinese students. Rich bastards. All studying in Sunway. And across the NPE there is Mentari which is also a Little Indonesia-all the Indon stalls. |

Been here for 23 years now, it's a great place but sadly many Subang people have moved out over the last few years due to congestion.
There's hardly any greenery around too besides the Subang lake |

QUOTE(xperiaVuser @ Oct 20 2017, 08:33 AM) I thought some houses facing the main road got affected seriously, sinking and they had to move out. IIRC those were Sri Jaya 252 and KL-Klang Omnibus No 51 from Kelang Bus Station to KL via old klang roadTook those Sj and klang buses plying this route... almost daily see the white ex-mining land... ![]() ![]() ![]() in the late 80s KL-Klang use to have Volvo bus. damn fast I tell you. if federal highway no jam ( mostly after 9PM you can reach klang town within 1 hour ) but if sri jaya using this hino bus ah? will take forever especially during climbing the now batu tiga federal highway road ![]() |
