Hi guys. 1mbps user here. I have been experiencing slow internet speed since 2 weeks ago. High ping and only have 20-30 kbps internet speed. Facebook takes time to load and this is really frustrating. Is it the cable repairing work causes this?

On the other hand, my 2nd house which is located 10km away from my first home that is subscribing 4mbps suffer no slowdown. Any sifu can help? thanks

Hi sifu. I am having 203.x.x ip address. Meaning this is affected? So shall I keep restarting till I get the range of ip that are not affected? thanks

omgawd this morning I woke up and have a check on the dsl wall plug, turned out it's loose a bit. Then I unscrewed it out and reposition the whole plug, plug in in place afterwards, the spped back to normal 
Getting full speed even I am having 203.x ip address.    anyway thanks again for the output

Just contact Tm hotline for request upgrading to 8Mbps the staff told me my area's port and cable doesn't support 8Mbps. What cables he talking about ? Aren't it the same copper cables ? Or does this fella was bull shitting me

received a call from TM few months before, they offer me 8mb for rm150 permonth

I rejected a similar offer too...but it was for RM150/month with hypp. Hope many more ppl will reject it too...maybe (just maybe) it'll make them think about reducing their rates.

Im planning to upgrade my streamyx to 4mbps. Currently im still on 384kbps package and using the old db102 riger modem which is provided by tm back in 2008. My question is, do i need to change my modem? or is it provided by tm since im upgrading. The tech guy came to my house and said that i need to change my modem and it will be fine. One more question, is it possible im upgrade to 8mbps package since unifi is not avaliable. How am i suppose to check them? tm tech fella said only till 4mbps is supported, but he might be wrong though. Thank you

You can have perfect SNR... but I donate RM50 to installer and i get extra 1mbps..

This is the cap at the port. TM caps the speed at username level. So even if your port is 5, wont do any good if your username is at 4.

TM technician just arrived at my house and he changed the modem to Innacomm ADSL-MARITIME-W3400V6. He charged me RM150.
