Fred' not.

The new Moto X makes a good first impression, but that's as much to do with the software as with the hardware. Luckily, owners of last year's Motorola devices won't be left in the dust. Motorola's Punit Soni has confirmed that all the new software features will be ported to the last generation devices, provided there is hardware support.

You will be disappointed with the 2300mAH on a 5.2" display.

given the way moto handles it's previous phones in which they are doing a terrific job with the battery life i don't see this as much of a problem. and besides don't forget the new moto x supports Snapdragon Quick Charge 2.0 and moto claims you only need to charge for the first 15 mins to get 8 hours of battery life, but don't get too excited though...

http://phandroid.com/2014/09/05/motorola-t...-in-15-minutes/

btw am i the only here who aren't satisfied with moto decision to bump up the screen size to 5.2"? seems like moto forgets what makes the precursor model so special and instead decides to appeal the hardcore specs geeks demograph instead with the "bigger is better philosophy" sad.gif

no worries bro, moto x bezel is just slim enough to compete with most of the phone out there (of course not the lg g3 tongue.gif )
bigger screen but lesser bezel will make the feel just right in one hand biggrin.gif

Xiaomi MI3 is taller and wider than the new Moto x, shouldn't be a problem for Asians hands then.

i get what you guys meant but im one of the few rare people who feels like its an unfortunate gripe tongue.gif

if you watch this comparison video and read the comment section you can tell what im trying to say, sure some of you dont see it too big of a problem but sadly not in my case. still i might try to get this phone nonetheless and see if it suits me well in the end because it is a really nice phone after all

the 2013 moto x is the perfect daily driver phone for me in terms of body size and design. currently im using htc one m7, a tad longer than what i would call comfortable but there's a good reason behind it which is the speaker and it totally make up for the phone height. but i wont consider metal phones anymore cos those are too slippery, cant believe i still havent break my unit after a year lol

so basically what im looking for is something not too enormous, svelte but with enough grip so i wont need cases which is what i consider the moto x 2013 scores perfectly.

I was looking between Moto G and Moto X for a new phone (still deciding). Should I get the current one in the market or should I wait for this new one?

Budget wise, I'm leaning towards Moto G, but aside from that I really like those Moto X.
