go to ur settings, under personalization go to manage notifications. Check if whatsapp is checked or not. My z3 compact unchecked it for some reason so just check it back to get notifications for that app
It is checked. I received notifications but no sound. I use custom sound, a .ogg file. Does it have to do with sound format? Does it have to be .mp3 or .wav?
I read somewhere resetting the phone could solve the problem.

both ogg and mp3 format works. In that case just restart the phone and see if it works.

Same problem. I did these things already : 1. Switched off my phone using the "off" yellow button inside the simcard holder. 2. Restart a lot of times, it's a temporary solution, but after awhile same prob came back. 3. In whatsapp, selected none then my selected sound back.
I've yet to reinstall whatsapp and reset the phone.

In that case maybe use the default ringtone? Sorry I cant help much on this matter cause I've never faced this prob before.
You are lucky because maxis willing one to one exchange with you. Did they change the policy.
My friend signed a Z1 almost year ago. The maxis CS told her, the box is sealed. If she confirmed to sign, unsealed and it will be her phone. Maxis will not take any responsibility and all warranty must back to manufacturer.
Nola, not maxis service center. Its Sony Service Center indeed that change one to one for me. But at the moment dun have stock so they ask me to wait for 2 weeks for new one. So I just keep the phone first before the new stock arrive for exchange. Its a freaking long wait for me.....

I waited the back cover spare part to come from beginning of the month until now.. u see... already no mood to call now.. I'm holding a waterproof phone but cant touch water.. this is how waterproof phone work. lol

i will be putting the phone into the water once i got confirmation from the SC for the one to one exchange now not dare to put the phone into the water first, later die then scare. sienz. juz now my phone flickered a bit again

Omg i suffer from random screen flickering too ! is it the one where there seem to be like an image full of noise appear randomly??
only way to 'remove' them is to uninstall them..... really sad i guess its part of android nothing sony can do about it... it acts basically like an 'app' thats why it has to stay in the APP Drawer...

hmm i think so. Its is like out of a sudden, part of your screen is fill with image full of colour noise. That's abit annoying though it just appear for less than 1 second. Probably not many ppl have it. That should b a defect.

maybe it's designed in that way so each camera apps and features can be updated independently.. and user can delete any feature they dont want..

Nothing to do with android, an apps design can have or don't have icons appear at apps drawer. Is Sony decide put it out.
