QUOTE(Xiia0Ban @ Oct 23 2014, 10:51 AM) Normally it wil only occurs when I just wake up and the phone is idle for hours. Thats because Stamina mode kicking in and disabling all data network towards those said apps. Like mentioned, try removing the exclusions and restart the phone before putting the exclusions back it. If it still doesn't work, you have to hard reset the phone then.

Its been like this since android Kitkat. Not Sony's fault. Apparently, Android doesnt want the apps to be moved to sdcard storage because reading speeds will be slower thus stalling app opening times. Such of limitation is so annoying. I think such of SD protection is unnecessary. I heard some other manufacturers are removing this but Sony didn't.

I heard some other manufacturers are removing this but Sony didn't. You "Can" save pictures, videos and music into SD memory. For pictures, just got to camera settings---> Save to---> Select Sd Card. For existing songs, pictures and videos, you can download Apps such as File Manager to move the said items into sd card memory. What I meant by 'unmovable' are Apps. Apps cannot be moved to sd storage anymore unless your phone is rooted. This post has been edited by TOMEI-R: Oct 23 2014, 12:32 PM

What are you trying to save to the sd card anyway? Like I mentioned, if you are trying to move apps over to sd card to save phone memory, you need not try as this is not permissable by android kitkat. But the SD card is in protection mode now, which is read-only. No matter move, delete or rename are not allowed.

Is the Sd card formatted to android directory? Was it from a previous android phone. If it is not, then im afraid you have to format the Sd Card and set it up as new on your Z3. It would definately work. I recommend you back up the content to your pc first before formatting.

If not i can't copy the files into it. It is just the phone cannot write it. Actually i did some google search before, it is kitkat new security feature. There are some apps which can modify it, which need root access. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?...app.sdfix&hl=en

The most annoying thing to me is still how we are not allowed to set custom ringtone for a specific contact group. Brr... Such feature has been available since the monophonic ringtone era but now it is not being allowed in Sony.

Another problem is, not too sure if this is a Sony problem or an Android problem, but after viewing a contact and when I go back, I actually expect the screen to stay at where I was instead of going back to the top of the contact list.
