but heard frm my friends who went there previously...tat she felt so unfair that there r some people who actually run, but no authority ppl bother to catch any....i think they juz focus on front walkers.
*
i was caught twice for running instead of walk, there are field marshall along the way. just that there isnt enough people to keep an eye on the whole route.

feel uncomfortable since it required to limit your pace throughout the event. just join once in 2003 and no intention to take part anymore.

It cannot be 9km. They put a signage indicate last 1km before the Primary School, but obviously the exact distance is more than 1km.

The race distance is poorly calibrated i must say.

Larian Bomba only accept application that submit personally to their HQ in Jalan Tun Razak.

So i guess there wont be as much participants compare to those event that allow mail entrants.

which shop in kl has the widest variety of running vest?

visit a few adidas, reebok and nike boutique + Royal Sporting House. but it seems to me that these vendor only carry 1 or 2 design for the running vest, and some of it even running out of stock and odd sizes...

phoenix,

how you normally pinned your tag number onto your adidas ClimaLite running vest? it seems to me their fabric is very vulnerable to needle.

generally i feel that the Power Run is well organised compare to Orange Run & Larian Mesra Polis as there are many traffic police monitoring the race throughout the run. There is even a kind-hearted policeman cheers up fellow contestants in the closing stage.

The only downside is the waterstation lacking manpower and runners are wasting valuable time there to get the drinks...

good to meet phoenix n rashid at the finishing point and looking forward to see you guys in the coming Larian Bomba in may.

A week break after the hectic april, at last.

ladies need to complete the race in 2hrs for the medal, which means average speed of 7.5kmh. Technically, at a contant fast walking pace from start til end should deliver the result.

if you take part in the malay mail big walk, take a peep on other walkathon pro and see how they "walk" their ways to the finishing. Malay mail big walk will take on a similar route with Power Run & also Pacesetter 15km i think.

I may complete the 10km within 1hr ~ 1hr05min which left me 35min to cover the remaining 5km. But limping for the last 5km will not helps for getting my hand on the medal.

still left 3 weeks to figure it out...

according to fellow kaki bola, the match is boring. but liverpool use to come back from 3 goal deficit during AC Milan match. So 1-0 is no big deal.

i only lepak in mamak and never cafe, orang miskin....
