Minimal ADB and Fastboot is not the same as Miflash. Miflash has a windows gui but also threw up many alarms from my antivirus/malware apps. The Minimal ADB is a much smaller download and installed much faster.

The path variable looks ok. Really strange.

I just connected my phone in fastboot mode and it shows up as "Android phone" under device manager. And the windows usb device icon shows up in the taskbar. I rebooted my phone by taking out the battery and replacing it and did not encounter any issues.

Just "add" ram like I did from 1gb to 2gb will do. You just need a class 10 SD card and its easy like abc. The best part is its free if you know how

Before I "add" ram it even crash, now smooth like water. Later I will tell how to do when free, its easy.

why dont u put ur sim into another android phone & export all sim contact to google.
and import back to 1S

Yup just normal flash. Use the updater app to do it.

Copy full ROM to the 'downloaded_rom' folder in phone internal memory>updater app: choose 'select update package'>navigate to 'downloaded_rom' folder, choose the full ROM file>OK, phone will update and reboot.

Test the RAM management.
Open music+play some heavy games.

No lah. V37 should have better RAM management imo.

Save contact to google contact better than SIM card easy recovery and sync whenever u switch  phone.. contact in SIM card if gone means forever gone

I have no issues deleting contacts from 'Configure SIM card'.

You can try installing 'Sim Contacts' from Google Play. See if it works, it still doesn't then it's your sim card problem. Go to your service provider to change a new sim.

Just finished hardcore test lol. I think that's it, scare will spoil the phone and mmc. I am using 8GB mmc for the swap only.

Best result as below, I open Kuwo + TTpod + Build in music player + huge size Racing game at the same time, its running smooth without lag. But when I try put in another music player, the game crash before race start   

What I did is reinstall the drivers.

8 GB MMC = less cost if anything happen to the mmc 
Nobody say it was a secret    . Yes I notice the tutorial above but I found it a bit complicated for a beginner Android user like me. Below is what I did in "easier" way. Source : shared by my expert friend

I am not responsible in any way for damaging your device. Although this is fully tested method do it at your own risk.

Step 1) Buy a class 10 memory card. I am using 8GB for the swap because I feel +1GB memory is more than enough for my usage.

Step 2) Download Roehsoft Ram Expander, it cost RM 15 in Playstore, pay or download the xxxx version from this website : http://9androidapps.com/, your choice.

Step 3) Install and open the software, first adjust the SWPFILE value to the memory size you would like to "add", you can see my value is set to 1000MB because I think it is good enough for my phone. Max you could go is 4000MB. Next set the SWAPPINESS value between 40 - 99. The higher the value the faster the Swap process, hence more chance to damage your sd card  . I am using 70 here, so far so good.


Step 4) Take a look at the RAM FREE value, it shown your current ram information. Finally touch the SWAP ACTIV at the top, wait for it to process. You're done , now refer to the bottom TOTAL FREE value and see your phone fly 

The software also come with a widget that display memory infor. Just go to your widget screen and drag it out to the home screen.


This is not a full solution for our phone ram issue, still hope Xiaomi could rectify it soonest possible. Thanks for reading.
