one of the reason why i got into the console scene

not only that..
update patch for graphic driver, sound card, game patch.. etc..

i oersonally feel crysis not coming to console not a big deal to console players..
after all.. FPS is not the reason why ppl owns consoles the first place..

console r thru plug & play

i'm almost certain it will appear at least on the xbox360 eventually.

Modchip is peanuts compare to keep upgrading PC.

And of course PC runs more application...becoz it's a PC!!!

I think most people has no intention to run Word/Excel/Pinnacle Studio on a console.

Im sure "they will do something bout wont they....i mean SONY...since they are the only one that have not come out 100%...maybe quadrople core processor on ps3.....you never know....

For my opinion, sufficient or insufficient power doesn't really matter

player who select console is because of the variety application are all customize to be play and enjoy the optimal performance without worrying the requirement of the games

hardcore fps player are more dependent on pc processing power due to the high expectation of graphical detail to be displayed

so as for conclusion,
if really going for fps, than PC is the choice and easy game control

adventure, action-rpg or so on, console is the choice,

thank yhou God in heaven for sparing one more mindless FPS for us all...thank you! one down, morfe to go!

i tot ps3 is a superpc with its core, Cell?

Well we dont really know how much of it is real power and how much of it is marketing BS. John Carmack for one has said that the next-gen consoles arent anywhere near as powerful as both MS and Sony would like you to believe.

i bet that the crysis engine will be on the next-gen console, slightly stip down i guess...
their market for that game engine is for next-gen gamers, mostly for pc gmers and also the demand from console gamers...
i'm quite amazed that even the original xbox can run the crytek engine for farcry, as my dinosaur pc of the latter 865pe can barely handle that game..
