Here we go:Product label ![]() Folded ![]() Closer look ![]() Stacked up with it's 'larger' brother (can't remember the size) ![]() Unfolded, with the larger brother still folded in two ![]() Annndddd...... ![]() Just to put it into perspective, that's a queen size bed there and another feet and it'll be right at the edge of the mattress. And I definitely think it's longer than any typical bath towel...maybe a little skinnier but definitely LONGER!!! |

QUOTE(thom_chai @ Sep 19 2014, 10:56 AM) [/spoiler] Not really. I mean it is huge but it's those kinda 'stretchable' kinda cloth and also it's not so thick. I would normally just fold it in four (half then half again) and easy to wring the water out....that is IF I need to wring....and most of the time I don't really need to..... Wow, the giant MF, would it be a pain to wring out the excess water? And RM35 for it? Time to buy some to replace my bath towel. Wait. |

Bro N33d, there are limits what a detailer can do. If the runs are above the clear coat or the clear coat itself, it's possible. If they're under the clear, then the whole clear need to be sand off and re-shoot - that's beyond any detailers unless he also do paint job. A decent quality re-spray job would cost in the thousands. If you can afford it, take it to a more reputable painter. If you can't afford to spend that much, just keep sending it back to the sc until you're satisfied. But you'd need to be insistant and keep pushing them....it's your right. You can send to a good and reputable detailer to check first if you wan't, just to make sure whether it can be salvage or not.

Already bought quite a few stuffs frm him before.http://www.supremecare.com.my/store/index....ute=common/home QUOTE(TamiyaOne @ Sep 20 2014, 11:50 PM) No velcro backing plate - can only use their own propriety bonnet like shown in the pics on the box. Machine wise, it's an 'ok' macnine for waxing and *very* light polishing.QUOTE(kalvinkhoo @ Sep 21 2014, 12:50 AM) coll cooll... Previously i saw some one posted that they saw some rotary that cost below RM300. Skil rotary is around rm250. Haven't tried it before, but most of the cheaper polishers lack the necessary turque to maintain the rotation speed under load - it slows/bog down once you put pressure/press on it. Still usable with 'ok' performance....considering how much it cost. But I wound suggest, if you can source for the fund, a very much value for money rotary machine is the DeWalt which cost around rm650.now im not sure to go that or either the Makita 9227c. |

QUOTE(cawan @ Sep 22 2014, 12:22 PM) 1) does that expensive car coating can protect from watermark? - not really 2) how to avoid watermark, or preventive? Main cause - dirty or contaminated rain/water (or dirty surface getting wet) left to bake dry (especially under the sun) on the surface. Measures - wash frequently, try not to let your car to be baked under the sun for too long after rain, wash as soon as possible after rain, maintain a healthy layer of wax/sealant on the surface (act as a sacrificial layer). 3) how to remove it now? i did try car wash 2-3 time, still there From the pictures, looks like you'd need to clay and polish/compound them off.... 4) did try white vinegar as in google, but no luck Ref answer to no 3 above. 5) does waxing help? what diff with clay? Waxing will help to minimise damages to the clear coat (as no 2). I don't think it can remove those watermarks shown in the pics. Claying is for removal of embedded contaminants. It might reduce the watermarks by removing much of the embedded deposits, but it can't remove damages to the clear coat. 6) is it correct that car polish can damage ur factory paint? Only if you (or the person doing it) don't know how to use it properly. Hey...look at your car manual under paint care...there's normally a recommendation by the car manufacturer to polish your car annually. |

Moving forward a few months...got myself some sanding disc and this time using an ROB....
![]() After compounding....roxx, check out the 'finish' from Trizact p3000 sanding disc ![]() End result... ![]() ![]() This was a few years back. All in all I've already sanded my waja twice. So far haven't punch through the clear coat yet and the paint is still healthy. Even the front engine bonnet which had seen lots and lots of testing of compounds/polishes is still with its original paintwork. Paint thickness is still above 100 microns throughout the car. Fast forward today, my waja has develops quite some swirls and marring since I haven't had the chance to give her another round of pampering. But, with the reduction of OP, standing at a distance, even with all the swirls and dirt on it, the paint still look *almost* like new.... |

QUOTE(kalvinkhoo @ Sep 23 2014, 10:25 AM) Wow, i thought no one using Unigrit no dare to ask. But reading through other forums it sounds not that bad. I havent really expose to KL detailing industry like Osren and Opti yet im always in Meguirs. Maybe i should try calling up to get the sand paper. Need to touch up all this. Then you should give Osren a call or drop down at their place for a visit, very friendly folks over there. Megs may be superior in chemicals and abrasives, but Osren has quite an impressive line up of tools, cloths, accessories, etc. at very decent pricing. |
