Ya. If you want to ask CODE vs Filco.
I answer you 1st. Still is Filco wins.
Just that, Filco do not have MX Clear and Green that CODE has.

Do u use Filco urself? rolleyes.gif

QUOTE(belfong @ Sep 12 2014, 03:59 PM)
I agree that Filco still wins.
But Code Clears has other things:
1. backlight .. ok la.. I know the caps are crap but the white backlit is professional
2. I really really like the DIP switch to change to Mac mode
3. And I really really like that I can Fn-Page Up/Page Down to control volume. It does make a lot of sense.
*
Ya speaking of backlight, is it possible to custom add white backlight to filco? Will it look nice?

That volume shortcut is default hardware shortcut by Code designers. I didn't do anything differently.

And I don't need testicle. I already have two whistling.gif

DIP switch make it Mac mode meaning the Win key and Alt key became Alt and Command key. It swapped the key and made it native Mac keyboard. Just like a Mac keyboard. No need to use software to play.

I like the Fn F12 to on/off backlight. You can go to Code website and look at all the Fn keys. They out a lot of thoughts into it.

I checked the CODE website, only curious about FN+F11 is what.
FN + F11 is lock the Win key?

Ya, DIP switch is nice. thumbup.gif
I normally use keymap software in mac 'Karabiner' (previously known as keyremap4macbook) because my layout is custom layout.
So, all my configurations are in cloud.
For Filco (No DIP), need to remap the position of Win <--> Alt, so can become Ctrl, Option, Command.

Fn+F11 is to adjust brightness of the backlight. I think there are 7 levels of brightness.

Which are you referring to? If it's the white keycap, it's stock white Realforce cap. If it's the skull one, it's ClickClack novelty cap which I advise you to avoid it. tongue.gif

I think he just refer to the colour combination, not the exact Topre keycap. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of MX keycaps with that colour scheme, but I'm not fond of MX so can't help you there.
