Guys, my laptop straight lag when my dota 2 is open, but after I restart everything is back to normal again.. Everyone knows whats going on?

Probably not enough RAM

what is your laptop spec?
also when you run dota 2 do you plug your battery and power cable together?

check task mgr. maybe some application is running on the background.
memory leak? maybe. not really sure.

i was shocked when i went to PC FAIR at KLCC last saturday and found out that there is a Dota 2 tournament going on@@

Guess there are many tournaments going on around Malaysia. Mostly small and local tourneys... They should make it big like SMM... Like China's version of The International, it will definitely be good for Malaysians to experience something similar to TI locally

talking about SMM did they quit helding Dota tournament? Malaysia just started only lah...Selangor govn sponsoring is a good sign but will they continue this act is still unknown..

SMM was the big thing back in the day. Really brings back the feels.

SMM actually stands for Sendi Mutiara Multimedia, they're the official retailers for Blizzard products here. They only hold DotA 1 tournaments because it's played using Warcraft III.

Guess SMM just stop after Dota 2 launched. We dont need to depend on Govt to sponsor. Why not find those gaming manufacturers to sponsor? Im sure they are very interested. Most tournaments overseas are sponsored by them.

How I wish I had time and the team to organize a grand tourney in Malaysia....

There was one SMM that was held after DotA 2 came out. I stopped keeping track after that as most of the good teams had completely moved onto the newer game.

im using balanar all the way, and those guys still pick mid heroes that will result on the team losing, my question, can balanar be a carry?
