Between those 2, I vouch for 1+1

QUOTE(moniqee @ Oct 16 2014, 03:07 PM)
mi3? (it's like RM769)
1+1 (it's RM1399)

totally different...

you should compared the mi4 against the 1+1
*
thanks for feedback~, i also realize its not a good comparison . i try rephrase it like this,
'planning to get RM 769 mi3, is it worth to spend extra RM 300 and go for 1+1?'
btw directd is selling it at RM 1059 for the 16gb.

And I'll say it again, the 1+1 is worth the RM300 over the Mi3.
However! If you have budget constraint, go for the Mi3; also a good value phone.

depends on a few things,

do u nid LTE? do u nid the extra 1GB ram? for the front camera it's hard to call. 1+1 have 5MP front cam, but Mi3 have the built in photoshop effect for their front cam. So both shud b good for selfie.

so u are paying extra RM300 for these only. LTE, 3GB RAM and 5MP front cam. If u really nid the LTE or 3GB RAM for multitasking, it's better for u to top up for 1+1. But if u wanna play it save and wanna have good warranty service, I think u shud go for Mi3. Coz Xiaomi have a few service centre here in Malaysia dy, whilst for 1+1 the warranty is provided by the phone shop (AP set).

Well, if u can top up RM299, u can get the Xperia Z2 ori set from Directd.

If u can consider AP sets, u can consider OnePlus One (5MP front cam) and LG G3 too.  hmm.gif

Mi3 for me, higher resolution and Snapdragon 800. Good for gaming. thumbup.gif

Zenfone 6 is a good choice if u wan a phablet with a big screen and external microsd support. Just afraid the Intel's x86 architecture might have some app compatibility issue. Other than that it's a gud choice.

But personally I'll go for Mi3. Maybe I'm bias. tongue.gif

Dear guys...my first time posting to this thread...

Been using a SKY phone from Pantech brand for the last 2 years. The drawback is it's battery life sucks.

1. Brand: Any reliable brand will do
2. Budget: less than 1.5k
3. Specs: Not really a concern but the RAM should be at least 2GB
4. What you need in the phone: I use the phone mainly for surfing the net, replying emails, open waze app for road directions. Does not play games.

Redmi 1S for it's snapdragon 400 processor. But for camera performance, Zenfone 4 A450CG might be better due to it's low light pixelmaster technology. hmm.gif

Xperia Z2 AP set, Nexus 5, LG G3 2GB RAM version, Moto X. thumbup.gif

If u truly wanna save money, can go for Mi3. The cons is that no external microsd slot.

Zenfone 4 A450CG (4.5"), Redmi 1S (4.7"), LG G2 Mini (4.7") Xperia M2 Aqua (4.8" display)

Zenfone 4's concern is battery life, coz it has only 1750mah battery. Redmi 1S and G2 Mini are good choices.

or top up a little for Z1 Compact (4.3")? Top notch performance for a compact phone with Snapdragon 800, 2GB RAM and 20.7MP G Lens camera. The price is around 1.1k iinm.

If u have the budget, go for Z1 Compact. Compact design but flagship performance. icon_idea.gif

Yes. I also agree Z1 Compact is a sleek phone but the screen is a bit small to me with big hands. 4.7 - 5" will b excellent

I am using moto G (non LTE version) as my spare phone n performance wise is not bad, no lag at all but I m a non-gamer. If u wan bigger screen, go for moto X
