Yes. I also agree Z1 Compact is a sleek phone but the screen is a bit small to me with big hands. 4.7 - 5" will b excellent
I am using moto G (non LTE version) as my spare phone n performance wise is not bad, no lag at all but I m a non-gamer. If u wan bigger screen, go for moto X

Des wai now they have the Z3 Compact. 4.6" brows.gif

Mi3, Nexus 5, LG G2, Xperia Z1 AP set, Xperia Z1 Compact AP set.

Mi3 is the cheapest at RM769. The rest is around 1k+. About 1.1k.

If u can top up, just go for ori set of Xperia Z1 or Z1 Compact. U might be able to find 2nd hand Xperia Z2 at around more than 1.1k too in garage sales. hmm.gif

new wave are over ur budget. Like Moto X 2nd gen, Nexus 6. Those are expensive.

Yea forgot to recommend dat, 1+1 is better since it has 3gb RAM. highest RAM amongst my suggestion. brows.gif

If u can consider non main stream brand, can add Honor 6 into ur consideration. big screen, octa core, 3GB RAM

Hi can anyone recommend me a phone budget around RM500? It's for work use including site survey (take photos), email, apps etc.

Other than XiaoMi Note? It seems that xiaomi note has many issues as I read from the thread.

Thank you.

Oneplus One iinm, won't come officially to Malaysia. Coz Oneplus is built and sold by CM. Their selling system is u nid to get an invite, then purchase online, and they post the phone to u. So it's quite a hassle to buy online. Better if u juz buy AP set from shops like DirectD. hmm.gif

For best bang for the bucks is One Plus One 64 GB, Nexus 5 32 GB. If you want to go for more streamline Samsung Note 3 would OK. Do note that the price would go down since Note 4 has been launched

Brand : looking at HTC M8, Samsung S5, Nexus 6 & Mi4
Budget :RM2k
What do i want : camera, not laggy(good for multitasking), good battery life

so far i did the comparison for M8 and S5, and i would go for M8 because of its specs but camera wise obviously S5 won.

Now, since the Nexus 6 and Mi4 will be coming out end of the year, should i just wait for those phones to come out or should i just get the M8?

Well. If u nid it urgently, just get M8. If ur current phone stil not yet spoil and u can wait. Go for Nexus 6. Stock android, Snapdragon 805, and also super fast charging (as advertised by Google).

But not sure about it's camera performance. Nexus device and stock android are not known for their camera quality. But then we'll nid to wait for a review for Nexus 6 on youtube 1st. Who knows this time around Google and Moto has worked out a good image post processing algorithm and camera hardware? brows.gif

M8 camera is crap, hunt for M8 Eye or E8 instead. icon_rolleyes.gif
How about Z3? Great camera, and outstanding battery life.
Eventually you can consider Z3 compact. Same specification, smaller screen but yields you even stronger battery life. brows.gif
