1. Brand : Any, but preferably not Lenovo or XiaoMi
2. Budget : Maximum 800
3. Specs. Decent camera of at least 8mp, 2GB Ram at least.
4. Specifically can support LTE. Dual sim preferably but optional. Basic use of internet and social media, I don't use it for anything else so I prefer a phone that can last quite long

Zenfone 5 A500KL

If u can live with 5MP camera, Moto G LTE would be nice. Or u can wait for the newer Moto G 2nd gen with a 8MP camera.

If u can consider Lenovo, Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 would be nice. 13MP camera, LTE for certain carrier in Msia, 2GB ram.

If u can top up, can consider Padfone S, Honor 6, OnePlus One, Nexus 5.

Thanks man. Zenfone 5 A500KL would be a good first choice but can't hurt looking for another alternatives.

Lenovo Golden Warrior A8 is still not available in Malaysia? Plus, where can I buy OnePlus One???

golden Warrior only AP set available iinm. DirectD and SatuGadget shud be selling it. U can try to search in lelong.com.my

Same goes to OnePlus One, no ori set I think. Only AP sets, u can buy at the shops I mentioned above. nod.gif

Seems like the new Honor 6 is quite attractive. Dual sim etc. Anyway, how is it compare to HTC One E8?

1. Brand. preferably a brand that a lot of case manufacturers make case for
2. Budget. 1.4-1.6k
3. Specs. Snapdragon 801 and up, 13mp and good enough front camera
4. What you need in the phone. I want premium feeling phone if can, but needs to be ori price, not AP or anything.

was thinking of getting one m8, but new one is still so expensive, alpha comes to mind but the screen is only 720p, s5 seems cool but plastic fake metal rim is making me think about it over and over again, one E8 also seems cool but there's something about it making me hesitate

please give me some suggestion, thank you guys icon_question.gif

If you okay with AP set, satugadgetcom got attractive price for M8. What's the reason of disliking AP set?

I do not know actually, it's just that i'm already too used to buying ori phone instead of AP blink.gif
and after reading some cases where they have to send their devices for warranty and took a long time to be finished makes me a bit paranoid la whistling.gif

Never read any complaint regarding their warranty. I plan to get one from them too, but like agandul I afraid of the after sale service. Worst, I'm at Sarawak. sweat.gif

yeah hahaha, because back then when i bought my S3 from samsung themselves with ori warranty it's really easy to change something, i go to the samsung service center and tell them that my display got some black spots when in dark, they say they cannot see anything but they still replace my display without making it complicated
aftersales man, it makes all the difference. i don't mind paying more for great aftersales

so, any suggestions for me? icon_rolleyes.gif

From my reading, and online review I'm likely will go with E8. Because I really need dual sim phone and more hate than love for ultrapixel compared to megapixel. Of course it's plasticky but it should be better than fake leather like plastic design. laugh.gif I'm hesitated to jump for new brand like Huawei, Oppo, One + one etc due to my bad experience with Xiaomi Redmi Note. I expect too much, and hurted too much. laugh.gif

i'm still thinking about getting an S5 though, 50-50 with E8 right now, s5 is full of accessories here and there brows.gif
i tried Oneplus before this, the only thing i don't like about oneplus is that there's not a lot of accessories for it and a bit buggy for me, well cyanogenmod i guess, not that buggy but there's some quirks that i cannot live with, and also the camera feels a bit choppy (the viewfinder framerate i mean)
was gonna get redmi note, but mediatek chip makes turns me off hahahaha

Well, if u can top up RM299, u can get the Xperia Z2 ori set from Directd.

If u can consider AP sets, u can consider OnePlus One (5MP front cam) and LG G3 too. hmm.gif

mi3? (it's like RM769)
1+1 (it's RM1399)

totally different...

you should compared the mi4 against the 1+1
