I am a new customer, want to ask that for the first time, i get charged in the rm50 gov tax, can this be waived? Or they will only give me back in term of watami rebate rm50?

Base on these 2 conditions:

If birthday month and anniversary month are the same, say November2014, if dine at Watami with total bill of rm106.00 will enjoy:

(a). 5% instant discount rm106-rm5.30, final bill=rm100.70
(b). then in next month statement will receive rm10(10%) CB + rm30 birthday cash rebate + rm50 anniversary cash rebates?

So actual bill comes to rm100.70-rm90=rm10.70?

What is with the condition of 2 weeks before or after Birthday mentioned in earlier post? Can be a transaction done in any day of the birthday month right?


If only spend rm85, then rm85-5%discount-rm30-rm50=rm0.75?

Yes, it is to pay the gst RM50 1st if the cash rebate RM50 is not yet credited for new your CC..It would reflect as Cash Rebate RM50.Watami dining Rebate RM50 is another different cash rebate for usage at Watami Restaurant dining(upon having 2x transactions before dining) for new watami CC.

1. Pay GovTax RM50
2. Swipe 2 times
3. Wait for Watami50 (as a compliment for paying item 1)
4. There's another Watami50 for me (as a compliment for doing item 2)

so in total i will get RM100 Watami?

Pay GovTax RM50 is not counted as retail transaction. You will get RM100 if you fulfil all the T&C..

i was talking about the Pinch Of Salt (POS) card which you will get RM30 rebate but can only be used 2 weeks before and after your birthdate so it's better to just go to any of the Chaswood restaurants and sign up the card first

u can actually go anytime but if you go during your birthday you get extra RM30, for another RM30 (apply POS card)

The statement is not out yet but I can already see the statement amount.

I am expecting to receive cash back from various promo but they are missing:

1) Sign up cashback to offset GST, fruitie you already received yours?

2) Spend min RM100 SMS promo, RM 30 cashback

3) Spend min RM1000 SMS promo, 3% cashback

Anyone received their cashback for items 2 and 3?
