Michelin xm2 is consider quiet tyre ?
is it better than some of the Axia's Hankook Kinergy Ex ?

In terms of priority :
1) Quiet / Comfort
2) Grip / Wet Grip
3) Fuel Consumption / Rolling Resistance
4) Durability

For XM2, which size is better ?

Michelin xm2 185/60/14
Michelin xm2 175/65/14

How much is that Hankook selling price ?

I also think to change the Silvestones, they are just too noisy in highspeed. rclxub.gif
Just unsure which types to change. I am on chighways & city most of the time.

hmm i have no study about tyre la, size of tyre might very depend on your own preference. one of my friends which car kaki (always mod and change thing of his car), recommend me about Michelin XM2, Goodyear NCT5, Yokoham C-drive2. i know not much about tyres de la, so just follow his recommend lo rolleyes.gif

btw these number mean, 185/60/14 = tyre width/ tyre high/ rim size
Axia original size was 175/65/14, my friend told me 185 and 175 the car will have more stable la. correct me if I'm wrong.
65 and 60 sure will make your car lower, but not sure have any affect on FC and others annot.

Just stick to original size 175/65/R14 and get a reputable Low Rolling Resistance tyre if you plan to replace your Silverstones but maintain Axia's FC. My recommendations are:

Yokohama BluEarth AE-01
Bridgestone Ecopia EP200
Toyo NanoEnergy 3

Or else, just get the real stock tyre for Axia, Hankook Kinergy Ex.

TRIVIA: Mira e:S in Japan is using Yoko BluEarth icon_rolleyes.gif

the silverstone tire actually not that bad, yes it may be noisy, but i tried emergency braking (40kmh) on a clear downhill (very steep wan i tell u) wet road (after rain stopped)
the tire grips very well.. no sliding.. and my car no abs also..

Met my SA just now. He said silver stone tyres for this batch. Most likely will stick with the tyres first. Car will be for town driving only.

Registration number can get next week and need another 5 days for other stuff. So looks like another 1-2 weeks.

Saw the new facelifted myvi. Quite nice esp the blue color. Got some makan over the weekend. Plan to visit again tomorrow. biggrin.gif

Your tyre still new. Wait after 10k km, it will become noisier. Batuperak M3 always screaming when taking corner abit hard on my saga. Maybe it would not happen on axia because of it lightweight and softer suspension.

I wish i could get hankook kinergy on my axia but sad i got noisy batuperak m3 also. doh.gif

Ur saga if std rim i think only 13", and the sidewall much higher than axia, combine that with heavier body of saga, i think any tire also will perform lesser than axia with stock m3.

*
Sorry for the late. The interest rate is 3.06 but you have to pay additional insurance for the loan.rm146. The loan is from affin bak. U may try maybank as ive read from axia group fb says that 2.8% is achievable

Anyone knows at 110kmh with 5th gear manual whats the rpm?

Found this on FB, an Axia owner received an invitation letter to replace gear shifting cable. This issue might effect gear changing for manual transmission. No wonder when I engange gear 1,2 and reverse feel weird. It feels like the gear not engaged properly. Hopefully they will send me this invitation as well because can get RM30 voucher!

I received this letter via post too. Have not send the car for inspection yet.

The clutch pedal seems a bit heavy and making some squeaking noise after 4000 km. Very odd for a new car with no wear and tear.

Here's a video I found on squeaking clutch pedal.
