Found this on FB, an Axia owner received an invitation letter to replace gear shifting cable. This issue might effect gear changing for manual transmission. No wonder when I engange gear 1,2 and reverse feel weird. It feels like the gear not engaged properly. Hopefully they will send me this invitation as well because can get RM30 voucher!

I think my 2015 affected also, got really weird feeling when shifting gear especially 1 and 2. Also got kruk kluk sound. Even 3 year old manual persona no such noise and much more precise. shakehead.gif

Hi Axian, just got my car yesterday. Manual G Spec. Book early November. 2015 Manufacture.
[attachmentid=4303089]
My review after 100km
+ NVH is better than saga but the roof noise when rain not any better
+ Not bumpy as viva perhaps abit better than myvi
- the gear shifting feeling suck, feel like old car, feel loose and sloppy
- 1st time owns 3 cylinder car, can really feel the vibration especially at low RPM
*
Congrats!! rclxms.gif ....me too is on a G-manual!!
+ NVH is better than saga but the roof noise when rain not any better - For me is acceptable at this range! If budget permits can opt for soundproof to overcome it brows.gif
+ Not bumpy as viva perhaps abit better than myvi - A lot more better! thumbup.gif
- the gear shifting feeling suck, feel like old car, feel loose and sloppy - Feel more like a quick shifter but definitely not loose! wink.gif
- 1st time owns 3 cylinder car, can really feel the vibration especially at low RPM - Just a slight, no big deal & can be overcome tongue.gif

Give her more time to run-in & you will feel her best in its class, even the slow 1st gear will propel like a rocket sweat.gif

Donno my batch affected or not, but the shifter feel diffrent compare to showroom car.

Try manual proton car like iriz, then you will know what i mean the 'loose' feeling. But again axia is cheap car, cannot compare liaw.

Yes, the acceleration is effortlessly for 0-60 because of its lightweight. Really nice to use on town. thumbup.gif

Went to 10,000km service. Total is RM211.

Engine oil + filter is RM136.
Magnetrap is RM57.
Nitrogen gas is RM12 for four tyres.
Battery terminal protector is RM4.

I would not recommend you guys both Magnetrap (use magnet to trap iron particles in oil filter, pfft) and Nitrogen (pfft x2). TELL THEM UP FRONT that you don't want these items before servicing. If not, they'll tick every service options for you because they know P2 owners are "wealthier".

Also, there's no spark plug change at 10,000km. Next up is 20,000km.

IMO, if service provider or seller charge you without ask you first, you can argue back or escalate this issue to tribunal tuntutan pengguna. This kind of attitude involves ethic of the said SC.They cannot simply charge people without their consent even the amount is little. Extra RM73 for "unnecessary" service is just a rip off. vmad.gif

No more free service. But the 10,000km service got free labor charge. No need to pay labor cost.
