If they want to make profit over people who have limited time to play, I think I am out. I did not want to pay $60 for a second job.

Grind like mad and I cant even get a Gold or Silver level upgrade and since when now cars also have level too? The presence of second currency everywhere is a major put off. While the voice acting is really obnoxious. Its like everyone arguing or pissed off all the time.

Looks like the day of me playing a AAA action game from a large publisher has ended. Almost every AAA game these days has microtransactions which has been a huge turn off.

Planetary Annihilation will be going into 1.0 release soon.

Just a word of warning, apparently the developer has broke quite a few promises, mainly no offline mode(yea, it is an always online that is even worse than Diablo 3) and no competitive ladders that they had promised.

They are rushing it out too as they are adding a few probably buggy and unfinished features to it.

This is an example of a game with its stretch goals gone too far and the developer could not deliver them. I dont know how Star Citizen will be with its insane goals. Good luck!

Its alright. There are quite a few RTS coming out in a year's time.

I think Act of Aggression is the most promising one so far.

Kinda surprising that Grid have a massive price drop after 2 months.

Looks like its a major flop though despite the game itself is good.

The game is polished and plays much better than Grid 2 while have a lot of content even if you take Grid 1 and Grid 2 combined. I dont think is considered as quick cash in but a quality product with some gamebreaking bugs that is made in a short development cycle.

Sales wise, looks like its a major flop though.

They make F1 every year and they seemed fine.

The problem with Grid is, Grid 2 sucked and people automatically assumed that Autosport sucked too. Even in this forum, you can see people behaving like this. And there is also the prevalence of a small vocal minority that whines about everything that is wrong with the game is Codemaster's fault.

Whatever then, just hope these guys doesnt go burst by the rate things are going, i doubt they are making any money. I like their games but they do really need to stop listening to the "game consultants", get their MP coding right and release well integrated DLCs to the game.

The Season Pass and Black Edition DLC. Note that the implementation is pretty half assed though.

I dont think the new forum layout is any good.

It is going to be very confusing.

Where will Borderlands 2 go? FPS or RPG as it does both equally.

How about games like Assassins Creed? Is it a RPG? I dont think so.

Where will games like Enemy Starfighter go as it is both strategy and simulation? You have Rainbow 6 esque strategic preplanning before a scenario then a real time combat in a ship.

What about Burnout Paradise? that isnt a simulator obviously but another car game like rFactor 2 or Project CARS is.

What about Bastion? Is it actually RPG? Which I doubt so. What defines a RPG?

Mighty No 9, where will it go? It is not RPG.

Racing games like Grid Autosport, Grid 2 and Project CARS that clearly are motorsports inspired games. Where will they go? Simulation or Sports?

Where will all the turned based strategy go as we have tonnes of TBS in the market these days compared to RTS? Are they gonna be lumped into others?

Wargame? Thats pretty much a warfare simulator and also a RTS at the same time. It is not your conventional RTS.

Grand Strategy games like Crusader Kings? Where will it go?

Elite Dangerous is in Simulation subforum when Star Citizen isnt. What the?

We are going to see a lot of duplicated threads everywhere as people are terrible with genres and a moderation hell. I know reasonably with games and I still have problem classifying games into a genre separated box. Considering there are people still think both RTS and ARPGs like Diablo is Dota. And it is going to be a pain in the ass to search each different subforums for the threads you want to read. Especially on mobile cause you have to open many tabs.

The worse thing is, the games will be dumped together with all the Chinese and Korean garbage games so you'll get a lot of "Is Mighty No 9/Assasins Creed Unity/Evolve/The Crew free to play?" replies.

I used to proposed that we have a MMO subforum(which is current Online Games), a Blizzard game subforum, and also a Valve game subforum as they are the largest with established communities. Then, close down the old Battlefield and Call of Duty forums as barely anyone reads there while both games get a standalone thread in general forum. The mods give zero shit about it and made this misleading "Steampowered and Valve Games" forum with technically one active thread. At the same time, we already have a separate Dota subforum.

The moderation teams never listens to the people who actually post regularly in those subsections. Same problem happened with CC last time when it was under /k where it was invaded by garbage sex topics, despo stories and buaya real female posters. They only do something until things got really out of control where female forumer's pictures are leaked out in /k and the quality of posts there plummeted to garbage. Despite CC regulars complained regularly to them. Check my profile, my most active subforum is still CC till now despite I havent post there for years.

Looks like GH will go through the same shit again. I wont be staying if the quality of posts goes down the drain again.
