If you consider Mudmaster is too expensive, you can consider cheaper Protrek PRW-6000 series which sharing most of the Mudmaster functions and features except loosing the G-Shock Shock Absorbing Structure.

Hi All. Those who had Rangeman, do you encounter times where you accidentally pressed on the 'Sensor' button, the button on the right side when you are facing the watch ?

As I got a small wrist, so when i bend my wrist, my upper palm will touches my watch, will it 'pressed' on the button without me knowing ?

i tried before for 20 minutes but it doesn't lasting.
then they told me, the correct way to recharge it by put in the tupperware that has water in it. let the watch face direct to the sun. to prevent the solar panel burn. 2nd, you may charge direct under light. i use this option. put under light for 4 hour and above. from last monday till today, till HIGH.

That looks really cool, but I really doubt I'll be using all the features lol. But anyway yes I am looking for a G-shock, digital or not, but I thought all G Shocks are either Digital or a combination of both with Digital Camouflage pattern, but looks like the Rangeman is the only option haha.

why does tough solar with negative display is harder to see?

wanna ask, is it G-LIDE models means have both moon data and tide graph? Does G-LIDE stands for those 2 features?

But I notice GLS-8900 also G-LIDE but does not have tide and moon.

JJY is tune for Japan frequency only, therefore you need to use Tokyo as your home time. Actually you may adjust your phone manually to Tokyo time (use time zone adjust only), which means +9 from your phone, then the JJY will show one hour advance, sync it with your watch, then change your watch home time back to HKG, BJS, or TPI. There are people saying why you need to sync since you can manually adjust, but if you have the time running the same as atomic clock, time.is then it is satisfaction. Especially when you got 2-3 atomic adjusted clock, all run at the same time, it was so so fulfilling.

It's a good feature but I guess would work better with you physically in those countries. But it was fun to try it though and see how it actually works. I'm glad I went with this model watch with many features.

Are there any G-Shock with Tough Solar, Multiband 6 and have ana-digi that is not over 1k.

Search online but find it almost no online shop carries it, and even if got also limited model choice. Is it unpopular here in Malaysia?

BTW can I say that:

1) Atomic sync by radio signal (WaveCeptor in Casio terminology) is useless in Malaysia because we cannot receive any radio signal here.
2) GPS Hybrid WaveCeptor will be useful in Malaysia because albeit radio signal cannot be received, GPS signal still can be received here and so time sync feature still usable here.

Have been struggling in choosing between model with Waveceptor, or with GPS Hybrid Wave Ceptor, or have nothing at all. I am not sure how usable these features are in Malaysia.

I notice this Rescue Orange all have Stars in the dial or chapter ring. Mine has 3 stars, the GA-110MR has 1 star. GW-5610MR has 4 stars. Hey guys a beginner question perhaps.

Is the Casio G-shock market here works like smartphone market? What I mean is:

1) There is only one official Malaysia distributor, i.e. Marco, and product purchased from Marco shop (if not mistaken is only G-factory) will carry Marco warranty, i.e. Malaysia warranty, can be claimed at any G-factory shop around Malaysia. But item price will be higher. Similar to ori smartphone.

2) However there are other private distributor, who sells genuine Casio G-shock, but it is imported by themselves from other country like China, Japan, Hong Kong, Europe, USA, etc. It is still a real G-shock, just that warranty will be at which country it is bought from. So in other word the warranty given is shop base, and is depend on the shop reputation and reliability in providing support of warranty claim. Nevertheless price of item is cheaper. This is similar to AP smartphone. Hence these are grey importer.

3) Anything other than above will be fake G-Shock.

Am I correct here? Because the more I  read about this thread the more I feel this is how the situation is at here in Malaysia.

If I am right, then I feel that most forumers here do not mind purchase G-shock from non-Marco shop or seller. Is it because you are confident with the G-shock itself (not going to break so no need scare warranty) or you are confident on the shop support?

I wonder if your G-shock is not from Marco, and when it comes to the time where a repair is needed that is beyond what the shop can support, will Marco willing to serve you (of course with service fee charged)?
Major repair I mean is like replacing important sealing and still making sure it is waterproofing, like for example from Frogman series, some user really need to use it in ocean (not diving), so confirmation of waterproofing is important, and testing device needed to ensure its waterproofing again (although I am not sure Marco got so advance or not). I feel like shop base warranty support should have difficulty to provide such level of service. But I am stand to be corrected if any of the above statement is not right, after all I am newbie to this field.
