After 3+ hrs messing with Quantron, here's my short and sweet review:

Pros:
- good plastic quality. If you have Giant, you know what to expect
- combiner mode very sturdy, balances well
- scales well with Giant and Intimidator
- nice articulations in both individual bots and combiner mode

Cons:
- weak individual bots. Not-nosecone is a pain to transform to vehicle mode.
- instruction manual not clear for some steps, so u might need some trial and error
- doesn't have the "whoa" factor like Giant, maybe because it's doesn't really look like G1 Computron

I dunno... Maketoy Quantron looks good and (and very stylish) but somehow I'm leaning more towards getting Warbotron's Not-Computron instead. Got a feel of the prototype recently and I must say I'm very looking forward to the final production release .
