Just want to ask, has anyone ordered from Robotkingdom? How long does the delivery take? How is the parcel packaging?
*
I've ordered many times. No problem on their packaging, they use lots of Styrofoam padding. As for shipment speed, it depends. EMS will arrive in 3-5 days. Normal shipment probably 2-3 weeks.

No one from here who went to STGCC show off their rare hauls yet? I am surprised. Usually there will be one or two guys who will show off their rare and expensive items.

How good does UT's Abominus look? Thinking if I should bite the bullet or wait for MMC's one which is... nowhere in sight for a good while i'd imagine
*
i dont know much about UT to have an opinion to be honest. but i do think the price point on them is quite expensive.

Im still balancing my budget coz coz I PO UM and WJ months earlier.  After seeing the recent photos of SS , I might just hold back till my wallet recover a bit . I think deep down,  I'm still hoping for official announcement of MP VLeo  before moving in for the kill. hmm...

QUOTE(HxiiiK @ Sep 23 2014, 08:08 AM)
what? i thought it was just packed separately to prevent breakage while the item is in the box.. i can't believe you have to remove such a small item to transform?
*
nope, you dont have to take it off during transformation. you are right, it's just packed separately to prevent breakage while in the box. and good news is that they give you 2 sets of mirrors, so in case you lose one, you have a spare.

once you have the side mirrors in, you dont have to take them out again.

QUOTE(VDread @ Sep 23 2014, 06:50 AM)
Hmm. My short review, based on the unit I got.

Pros:-
1. Alt mode nearly zero panel gaps, and fitment is near perfect.
2. Bot mode is spot on G1 Wheeljack.
3. Joints are sturdy and tight.
4. Plastic quality is good.
5. I think its heavier than MP Prowl.
6. Transformation is fun.
7. Alt mode size, is a bit longer compared to MP Prowl / Lambor.
8. Super stabil, due to large feet.

Cons:-
1. Some units have paint defects.
2. Collectors coin has a typo on the card (Weeljack).
3. Viewed from the side, Wheeljack's alt mode looks as if its hunched.
4. The translucent wings looks as though it can easily break.
5. The side mirror (which has to be detached when transforming) can be easily lost.
*
yours might just be a lemon though, the paintjob on my piece is perfect. tongue.gif

but i agree with you on the points. to me, wheeljack has the best transformation of all the car mps to date. it's ingenious and complex, and i really salute the designers who came up with the transformation.

Haha. The side mirrors come in two pairs, packed via a model kit-esque runners.

Taking the side mirror of during transformation is not a must, but not sure why the instructions that come with it tells to do so (or I may not understand Japanese to not know what was the actual instructions lol).
*
if you're referring to the first picture of the instructions, it actually tells u to put the mirrors in before you do anything lol. nowhere else does it ask you to take it out after that. if you see the drawing of the final transformation, the side mirrors are there.
