I updated to V22 today then to V23. So far no issue with dropped calls. I am using Maxis.

Also when incoming call, it does not stop the 3G service.

So far everything looks pretty good except for below:

1. Backup App missing.
2. Mi Key normally during bootup will let me choose the device but after update to V23, no option and have to run the Mi Key app.

I did OTA without doing any reset from V14.

After update 28. The camera quality in low lighting suck as before?
Anybody notice that?

That's good. Still wondering should I update from V14 to V22 and onwards V23 thru OTA without factory reset.

Now got no problem with V14...

Why not just update straight to the v23? The full rom of V23 is available now in miui forum.

Hi guys, my gf xiaomi just updated to v23.. Right after update, the phone can't detect the Sim card and prompt this message 'Sim card hasn't been bound'.. Now only can make emergency call..

She tried restarting n reinsert the Sim card... It still can't detect and showing emergency calls only..

She is using digi by the way...

Anybody experienced this b4.. Is already been a couple of hours since she update.. The issue still remain unsolved..

Any help is greatly appreciated..

that's weird, I thought DirectD supposed to sell handphones at cheaper prices but somehow its getting more and more expensive. previousely I checked Mi3 sold at RM669, then it increased to RM756, and now it became RM779 that's much expensive than retail price at XiaoMi website 

H guys, a little help here. I can't seem to download apps from the google play store using mobile data. I can download them using WiFi tho.

A little bit of Googling tells me it's something to do with my APN. Not sure how to change that cause it's already set correctly. I'm using U Mobile prepaid. I wonder if anyone else has faced this kind of problem?

Yup, no problem. I snapped myself with from camera and sent to another phone via whatsapp.

I face similar issue since day 1. For my case, it happened when I received email alert (gmail).
When I tried to pull down the notification bar, it will sort like hang and after the awhile, the screen will turn black like yr pics.
So now, whenever this happened. I'll just go to the gmail app and open the mail. Once the notification for the gmail has been cleared, everything will be back like normal.
You can try. So far, I still haven't encounter this issue after I upgrade to V22 & V23.
From my earlier observation, it's very random.

Go to Downloads app and set the download usage to unlimited.
