Finally get my phone hard reset after recent update and remove the screen protector as well,

Whatsapp and WeChat restored successfully also,

feel so smooth & fast now. laugh.gif

installed back almost 90% apps, so far so good.

Guess that the slowness feeling will only come after 3 or 6 months later.. tongue.gif

Hi all.
I am so noob,help me please.
My s4 just updated to 5.0.1
Immediately after the update,i cant use my menu and back soft button. It is so incovenient.
Is it really a new feature in this update,or my phone is broken? yawn.gif
I cant tell. I tried looking into setting,no setting can undo this.
Thx in advance.

Backup your phone and hard reset your phone. See if it helps. If it doesn't its hardware fault already.

S4 is actually quite good in build and construction. Have used mine for 2.5 years before moving on. The only downside is touchwiz, which I have given up for past 1 year. Thanks to xda and cynagenmod, we have custom rom support as well. Phone is actually silky smooth still with some common bugs.

It served me well till the moment I sell it off. Good luck in having 5.1.1. Or you can try custom, pretty sure I'm using 5.1.1 for some time already.
