Haha thanks... its good but the battery quality really bad... which is my main minus point when considering future Samsung phones. Hopefully the upcoming S7/Note6 will not have such issues!

Suprisingly, I find the battery life of the S5 to be the best amongst all the current Galaxy S series. Even beating the Galaxy S6.

There is a 277mb+ software update via OTA to my surprise when I checked today. Thought Samsung wouldn't bother to release anymore updates for this old phone. Any idea what are the changes? I have no idea where to find the change log.

Very true. Probably because of the difference in screen resolution between both phones.

Yes... because the s6 is using a QHD display vs s5's hd display. But I personally dont see the need for a Qhd display.

Only the current phones will have 5.1.1. Even the S5 is still on 5.0, so for S4.... rolleyes.gif

Very true. Compared to last time, android phones dont really need flashing and custom roms nowadays. Most original FW are good enough out of the box. Hence not a lot of people know about flashing and custom roms now.

Yeah, other than that some custom rom are very stable as a daily driver. Lesser need to change romy frequently biggrin.gif

Still remember the days where we mod the modem and stuff like that. Not forgetting how we got our phones bricked. laugh.gif
