2003 - 2005 would be 3rd Generation. 2003 to mid-2004 are only I-DSI and after that, VTEC was released..

For stock city, can be identified between I-DSI and VTEC by looking at the rims, and rear brakes. I-DSI runs on 14", rear drum brakes whilst the VTEC has 15" and rear disc brakes.

End 2005 - Now, would be the 4th Generation.. Since both are now running on 15", you can still identify them by looking at the rear brakes.. I-DSI on rear drum brakes and VTEC on rear disc brakes..

Differentiating 3rd Generation and 4th Generation? Well.. the 3rd Generation looks pretty similar to the likes of Honda Jazz..

Wanna ask you guys something, is the FC for VTEC version very different from IDSI? The salesmen have been saying IDSI is 12sen/km while VTEC is 13sen/km. Can't be that good, right?
