captain fantastic is a unique movie.

it offers a diff perspective of how parents may teach and educate their kids, an alternative to the mainstream and the conflicts that come with it.

not that the method is recommended but it provokes some thinking, nevertheless.

Viggo Mortensen stars, briliiantly. 3/5.

Yes you are right. It contains sex talk and sex scene. Not suitable for kids to watch.

One of the shittiest movies of this year. This is coming from a person who reads, write and speaks Korean in the last 5 years.

The acting is barebones, other than Kim Hwan Hee (yes a little girl outperformed every other actor/actress in this movie, go figure). The "suffering" that was to be conveyed ended up looking lame and hilarious, rather than harrowing or sorrowful.
The plot is predictable from 10 miles away... what's so sinister about an "akuma" anyways? A town goes crazy because reasons, BIG EFFIN' deal. rolleyes.gif doh.gif

About the only good thing about this movie is the cinematography. Seriously props to the DOP, the sceneries that was captured were absolutely mesmerizing to say the least.

I'm not sure how this movie did so well in the west. But in Korea, it's quite shit and most natives don't care for it.

I thought this movie was a reasonable thriller, quite ok overall.

Train to Busan.... so much hype, so many awards... yet i found it average only. Maybe becos i am already overdosed with Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead! biggrin.gif

finding dory is excellent.

a sequel/spinoff from finding nemo 2003.

good story, great animation, wonderful colors, good humor.

besides marlin and nemo the clown fishes, an octupus, a whale and a shark adds to the fun.

4/5.

will watch it again if and when the 4k version is available.
