For the price paying, I wont expecting much from it, but at least its better than film type sp which might cost the same locally. As long it could protect the screen from breaking, its good enough.

Honestly even with those higher price one also I dont think it will be much difference compare to those cheaper one la. Mine is bought at combo price together with the back protecting case, both ranvoo brand casing and glass sp at total cost around 40+ rmb, and price tag on the box label it as 99 rmb

Just do a google search with "gapps for android 4.4.2" and will get the result, nothing hard at all. Just pick the gapps that match your phone android version.

You could also choose not to install those default google application which you dont need. Just open the zip file in archive, go to system folder, then app folder and remove those app apk which you dont need. Eg books.apk which is google play book which I hardly use, so I just remove the apk from that folder.

As some other few forumers mentioned, you need to installed gapps through custom recovery but not the default recovery. You could try Alucard's way or referred back to my post in page 24 for the 1 key recovery program, simple and easy way to installed gapps without even need to root your phone

You could choose to buy from local reseller or from china site such like taobao or tmall. With the upcoming double 11 sales event, the cost should be around rm1150 with shipping, accessories such like glass sp included. The price aint too great now due to weak exchange rate at only 1.82

First of I not sure if you understand what dual 4g means or not, as it has nothing to do with travelling between MY and SG, as from what I understand both countries are on FDD LTE (might be different band though). Dual 4g means capable of supporting both TDD and FDD standard on the same sim slot. Besides MX4 is a single sim phone if I not mistaken

Z7 is something which out of topic, since its just paper launch, and had not officially launch yet from what I understand, so its just Z7 Max or Mini only.

IUNI U3 is a dual 4G phone which support both TDD/FDD sim. It comes with dual sim support, but just 4G enable at sim 1 and gsm only for sim 2. Price spec is quite nice but bit too thick for my taste

What you actually need is a dual sim phone which both sim has 4G support, which is literally rare in the market now beside Nubia Z7 series. Majority dual sim phone is 4G/3G with gsm only.

As for Z7, if its really available, it should be able to find in China market, but there none at all, which I dont rely or believe much in those local reseller.

Tab on your screen harder since it wont break anyway, as I had no problem with double tap wake screen. I had no problem with the contacts as well, just like what I sync to google contacts. As for whatapps/ wechat, if you normally use the default clear ram feature (hold home circle), make sure you messenger apps are locked (pull down), then it should able solve your whatapps problem.

You can basically wait slowly since dual active phones are extremely rare. 99.9% dual sim phones are dual standby

Max has no ois, only Z7 has ois. Difference between max and mini are screen size, battery size, emmc size, processor/GPU speed and IR/NFC support

Z9 is just considered a rumour leaked photos only. Wait till it pass through tenaa then only its consider official. For nubia tradition so far, its 1 series per year only.

Still a big "IF". Technology changes by day, even if bezel less also not something to be shocked with la, since its already evolved till fold-able screen already.

In the end its just bout $$, do you really need to pay for something which aint that necessary or not, such like 4k screen on phone

You should understand new technology won't come cheap, which usually will cost an arm or leg. Its just like 64 bit vs 32 bit, nothing significant can be feel from user perspective to be honest. Such small screen fhd also more than enough already

No idea on the quality of your glass sp as I had no problem with mine. Besides I don't think don't think double tab pressure will be strong enough to break it, unless you have super human strength.

That should be through the default powersaver apps, which serve the same purpose if you tested it performs the same. I think its much easier just to pull down apps to lock, and after holding the brush for more than 2 secs, I dont see any white list too.

Usually just update your firmware to the latest through fota if your phone havent install gapps yet, since after gapps present, you need to download the whole rom to install through disk, which will wipe contents of your phone.

The latest firmware is 1.48 for max, which can be download at nubia.cn

Mine still with default recovery as I just temporary boot into cwm when I need to update my gapps

I had no problem with my unit with double tab wake, and late message receive already settle long ago with apps locked.

Either one will do la. Those like me which lazy or didnt root one will use helium lor

Totally clueless why you guys having so many problems, as I had none mentioned above with my max. My youtube is the latest and never had any problem for once whenever I try search any video clips or play them, usually watch gundam anime from my phone weekly

As for the one with problem installing those bank apps, I tried and had no problem at, it just download and installed straight away from playstore.

Just recently updated my dad mini to 1.62 and had no problem at all, and will probably update my max to 1.48 this weekend if free, else will be next week then.

Mini has nothing to do with statement 2. China telecom 4G if not mistaken is on FDD, and FDD licensing is still not finalize yet in China from what I know. Its more like adding support for China Telekom 4G users by early Dec

As for 5 its more like close beta testing, where users can choose to install the lolipop to try out, but wont have any support for it. 6 is open beta testing, so can expect the finalize lolipop around feb or later.

And for those that might interested with the flagship z7, it available since last week

Yup, wont need to change at least for the next half year or in 2015.

Battery life varies on each individual usage. SOT can reach 4 hours+ to 5 hours+ with bout 1 hour+ of web browsing and radio streaming, where the rest is gaming and sns on my usage.

Installing custom recovery is not a must, where you could always use those 1 key recovery program to temporary boot into custom recovery. If you intend to be a flasher, then install custom recovery is more convenient lor. Like me I just use it to reinstall gapps only, root also lazy to root.

Its pretty common for 3100 mAh battery, so actually nothing impress. My previous grand s2 can even reach close to 7 hours sot with minor gaming with the same battery capacity, in the end its bout how you use your phone only.

There plenty of new phone available, just that current one already provide enough horse power and dont actually need to change. Also got try out a few other models for testing such like the nibiru, v5 max. Might order coolpad f2 next if got mood
