I changed my tyre to Michelin pilot sport 3 yesterday and managed to trade in the stock Achilles 2233 Tyre ( from Indonesia) . Going to test faster speed later but managed to feel the improvement in terms of noise/vibration and steering is way better than before when driving home last night.

Lucky you didnt get the Goodyear Eagle F1 Directional 5 like me. I loved the performance but I really hate the noise it produce when driving on old or concrete road. Surprisingly noisy sweat.gif

@Xu3r
Good thing you went with PS3 in the end. Im looking forward to change my next tires but might take some times cos even though already drove 34k km, there's still a lot of tread on it. Planning to go either Yokohama db decimal or ps3.

As for the remote boot in my case, i usually need to press twice to open it. not cool sweat.gif

Hi all, just received my suprima s today. Can I know how can i activate my maps when I have insert my sd card? Please guide.
*
Didnt know we have to activate first to use the map. Last time i just insert the sd card and straight way use it. No such thing as activation as I can recall.

Anyway after using the car for quite a while, yesterday Im quite surprise to see I was able to achieve more then 400km in city driving on full tank . Usually I can only can get 380-400km if i drive casual and 350km if i drive hard. laugh.gif

Replaced the battery last week. My beloved Suprima S up and sprinting like nobody business again biggrin.gif

On the second note, may I know which brand of tires you guys upgraded to replace the stock one?

Normally we change the tires approximately around 50k KM right?
*
I replaced mine with Goodyear F1 Directional 5, noisy but have good grip (wet & dry). Already clock at 38k km, still have around 55-60% tread on it. Planning to change with better tires once reach 50k km. Might get yokohama Advan db or michelin PS3. Right now Im saving up for those tires biggrin.gif

Too me, i have no problem with the quality of the sound. A lil bit above decent to me, but the thing I hated the most is when the HU freeze randomly once a while, freaking annoying.

No, super premium and standard premium have the same features and spec. the only different is that super premium come with R3 original sport rim and full bodykit. Thats all.

and yes, suprima is bigger then focus. Last time i try sitting at the passenger inside the focus, it was cramp for my size.

not yet but planning to install it. Still waiting for it to be available from third party seller as proton doesnt allowed buying separate part. I already install the front and side skirt, i just need the rear bodykit only. sad.gif

The rear kit from R3 is too..... simple? Cost about RM 160 ala carte if I am not mistaken.

I am waiting for another version in future with exhaust port.
*
Really? where did you see/hear that?
Might grad straight away if the price only RM160 biggrin.gif

It only happens to me whenever I skip the three step starting method. Press start twice, wait for airbag light to go off, press the brake, press start again.
*
Dont skip the three starting step method.
It will affect your ecu in the future.
Just stick with the standard procedure.

well at least you bump your own car, mine was hit on the side by a motorcyclist last month. After fixing that, a few days later someone leave big gash on the front bumper. cry.gif
