Hi Everyone...Bros!!  notworthy.gif

IINM actual size of Ori wipers is
Between 16" k 17" for passenger side....
And between 21" & 22" for Driver side...

It was so 4my 1.3 FL Exec...cos me (that time...2011) put the wipers side by side...

Found the Ori was...
Neither 16 nor 17 for Passenger side!!
AND neither 21 nor 22 for Driver side!!  whistling.gif

There's NO such size of 16 1/2" ...also NO 21 1/2" ...  sweat.gif
So...?

Can Sifus in here pls confirm?  tongue.gif
TQVM! cheers.gif

ps. My guess...?
Ori sizes were in cm (metric) but replacements (3rd party) are in inches...?

iinm is 17/21.. last time i change the seller said its 17/21..

17/22 is the best.
covers almost the width of your WS leaving approx. 1" +/- gap in the middle.
Been using this size since owning car.

assuming no mechanical wear/failures, give it a try on prestone power steering fluid (transparent and very low viscosity)
http://prestone.com/enmx/node/442

label mentions stop squealing and it does the job for me

can be bought via ace hardware or eneos @ around rm20+ for 946 ml
just about/slightly more expensive (few ringgit) than ATF

most cars would use less than a litter however the spare you could use it as a flush if you wish to (or if it still squeals)

=edit=
consider jacking up the car and turning the car with power steering (engine) off to see if it's really from the power steering and not other wear/mechanical failures.

NO! you can't check for the sound of PS problem with the wheels off the ground as the steering arm is at an angle and there's no load on the steering system it is the wrong method. you should diagnose the PS system with the engine on and wheels on the ground. There's very limited problems that can happen with a PS system. Since it only has a Pump, steering cylinder, steering arm, AUX belt and steering rack mount.

Need to know the squeaking sound happens at what position of the steering, idling time?..etc

agreed, however i am pointing this out to isolate the PS system as the issue may not be the power steering at all.

Hi Bro...  notworthy.gif

There's no fixed lifespan 4batt3 IINM...
My Ramcar batt lasted 3+ yrs & cld still start every morning...even at time me replaced it cos near CNY... icon_rolleyes.gif
Voltage tested under load then was 10V+...

More on luck, usage & maintenance (as in maintaining a full charge as much as possible)...

If Ori Ramcar batt3 (not a dry batt), try chking if it's low on fluid...
If so, top up & recharge. Then go for a LOAD test.

AFAIK, car electrical sys will hv leakage sumwhere...also current is consumed even if car is not used...eg by clock?
And yup, there's usage (led) & possible leakage by VS... tongue.gif
So 1 week of standing cld hv drained the batt or discharged it/left it w/o enuf juice 2crank engine...

Cld b due 2shortcircuiting of plates (bent?) being oledi 2 yrs old?
Dunno really...

Best wishes...  smile.gif

Regardless of what the problem is, jacking a car up with it's tires off the ground is not the correct way to diagnose a sound problem because it does not have load on the suspension, steering and other things..etc. Unless you put the car on a ramp lift. Where the car still has all 4 tires under load. As you know our cars don't float on air...

What's ur car mileage? Last PS fluid change mileage?
Check your PS tank reservoir level? still have how much PS fluid inside?
Colour of the PS fluid. (Open the cap and see if it's dark brown colour)
Can you hear a squealing sound when you full lock your steering? be it L or R.

my suggestion is based on isolating ps being an issue, if the wheels are planted, without power steering running for a ps equipped car it can be difficult to turn depending on what car you're driving.

but of course if you've confirmed that ps/ps pump is the issue, then your method would be the only method :thumb:
