and yes u can update from ur phone, no need download n install manually.

I know many of you are asking..so thought I could share a bit of the Zenfone usage. I've had ZF5 (Ori MY) and then changed to ZF6 (AP) for the bigger screen.

I use this, have taken calls, Tango, Viber, Phone calls...smsed as usual...viewed the news...I have about 4 alarms set and let it ring so many times before dismissing...just normal use without thinking. I played a few games while on the lrt. I also listened to some songs yesterday whilte travelling on the LRT. Did some Mobile data work this morning checking the news...and this is my battery status at this tim (see pic).

I have the 2 sim cards installed and offer these tips:
- turn on data only when needed.
- turn on wifi only when needed
- Screen brightness not too high...about 30% normally unless I must turn it up....then after I use, back down

I bought this unit about 3 weeks ago, and I'm happy with it. I did experience about the same level with my ZF5...could get about 1day and 4-8 hours per charge of 100%.

just bought asus zf6 ap set...so far the fon is fantastic...

Is it me or the frame rate when recording videos with the zenfone 5 is completely subpar (As I am using it right now)? even the Iphone 4 can manage to record 720p videos at 30 fps without any stutter and stuff.

same goes to me. didnt expect phone at this price can be so smooth
really like the one hand mode feature so far in zen6 make it easier for me for messaging

any1 here knows how to hide icon label in zen ui launcher? i couldn't find that option. pls help thx

try the camera functions.

mine 1920x1080 on normal or bright light get around 28-30 FPS
but when in low light it drop to 12-15 FPS...

Apparently it's the exact opposite for me. the low light actually increases the frame rate rather than decreasing it @_@

edit : recording inside of my house will stutter the frame rate for some reason. Most likely because of less than ideal lighting. And I do have a class 10 mmc installed in my phone. Still weird though.

I dont think there is an option for that. I also lookung for wallpaper scrolling option. Got?

last monday i bought zen6 at directd ap set rm669. if want ori bumper and screen protector add another rm40

i guess it needs a 3rd party launcher to do all those customizations
