been using zf4 with 1600mah batt for two days now. the speaker sound is damn low even on highest volume, made me wanna root it and install viper4andoid

the lowest cpu frequency for all zenfones is 800mhz. no wonder battery life is crappy. i can compile custom kernel to enable additional lower frequency 100mhz-700mhz but zf4 still got no custom recovery yet

of course can. for me it doesn't make sense if phone idle or in deep sleep, screen off, but stucked at 800mhz. 800mhz is for using, not for phone idle. wasting power at no apparent reason.

deswai i said i wanna enable additional freq, 100mhz-700mhz. phone will chose to use those lower freq when in deep sleep thus possible to conserve power more, plus with possibbilily to undervolt could make the phone produce less heat.

benchmark scores doesn't represent true, real world perfomance usage.

seems like the app only can input with handwriting. what so "super" about that
doesn't make sense to use handwriting only, on small display like zf4

dang zenfone camera really superb, sharp and vibrant color. asus did an awesome job with its camera.
my dirt cheap zf4 with just 5mp without flash beat the crap out of few of my friends phones with 8mp and got flash, pic taken in low light somemore. proud to own a zf4

i've compiled a kernel for my zf4. but can't be tested. no cwm nor twrp, and i'm not even sure if its bootloader locked or not

zf4 got two version, old version/batch with two 1200mah battery and newer version/batch with single 1600mah battery. price is same. zf4.5 got 1750mah battery i think.
i'm using zf4 with 1600mah so let me tell u, dont expect much with the 1200mah battery. mine with 1600mah battery, light to medium usage ie flipboard reading and whatsapp use, wifi connected, no gaming, can only last 12 hours between charge with only three hours of screen on time.

older zf4 with dual 1200mah bettery, yes. newer zf4 with 1600mah battery got 8gb internal storage.

btw i read asus official support forum, they're working on official tool/method to unlock bootloader. obviously would void warranty same as sony phones unlocking. i'm prepared to lose my warranty for this dirt cheap rm300 phone and also got ability to flash kernel and make the battery life better
