Don't forget 6% GST when importing items above a certain amount.

haiz, only can blame ourselves for being so poor cry.gif

Guys, currently I'm using 60D. Thinking of upgrading to FF. Do you think 60D>6D is a good upgrade?
*
on 6D, everything is better than the 60D except that you lose pop up flash, tilting/rotating screen and also a little weaker autofocus system.

at the end if you can justify the high price over 60D then by all means go for it smile.gif

heard a lot of not so good reviews about it, any sample pictures? my previous experience with older generation tamron is good at least (the old 70-200 f2.8). tongue.gif

Good means, as 5d3 already in market, will 5d2 specifications too outdated? If not too outdated then is good.
*
technologies alone, the 5d2 is very outdated i would say. a sony a7 mark 1 beats the 5d2 in every aspect, yet being cheaper used.

i wonder how come hardly anyone talking about 5DS...
*
QUOTE(OhNooy @ Dec 5 2015, 12:00 PM)
Good suggestion!
Yeah I think this is good enough, I don't usually do action/sports photography.
Usually shoot landscape and portrait  biggrin.gif
I tried to hold Sony A7 mark1, but the handling feels not so right.
*
5DS pretty much a 5D with higher MP sensor, what people really wanted is a 5D4 i think.

yeah mirrorless still feels a bit odd compared to dslr, but then you are trading ergonomics for portability.

Can't wait for 5D4. sad.gif Sadding when they released 5DS. Was expecting a huge jump but..... tsk tsk.

if the 5d4 is going to as disappointing as Canon's recent releases, then good luck Canon. all their new products are pretty much doh.gif

I feel hor, over the past 5 years Canon's most interesting SLR products are ............ EOS 60D and EOS 70D, and perhaps EOS 100D.

I don't see many people talk about their 750D / 760D, I was at the launch and wasn't impressed by them.
*
yeah exactly. even 7D II is pretty much ignored, Canon releases not so bad APSC bodies but never bothered to release updated APSC lenses.

750D/760D to me at least considered a big jump over 700D, but they came way too late as most people will go for mirrorrless now for the entry level market.

and look at their mirorless products, EOS M3 is supposed to be exciting but a lot of obvious crippling that can be found probably to protect the DSLR market. yawn.gif

how I wished canon can produces a mirrorless on par with sony/ panasonic/ olympus since the EFM/EFS adapter actually works well and I like Canon's lenses a lot.

my tamron sp90 giving me an Error 01 on my 6D sad.gif
*
happened before to me with my tamron 70-200mm, luckily after a few times of turning the camera off and on + remounting the lens that error was gone sweat.gif

BTW, by mechanical sound is it from the aperture blade? I just remembered that when that error occurred the aperture blade was stuck.

When fruitie had it, it was already aged, and I pushed it even  further doh.gif

Now what macro lenses out there that I can get for 500 bucks... Hmmm
*
i would suggest getting something like a 50mm + extension tubes until you managed to save up for a new set of macro lens.

Have that, but no need so leceh for now, coz my current 28-75 was surprisingly very sharp! So no need to purposely get a macro lens for now smile.gif
*
good thing then tongue.gif

i wonder how much magnification do you actually need for food shots? i guess very seldom you will go more than 1:2?

You'll love 2.8 if you are shooting events. I struggle a lot with f4, even at widest end 11mm. Have to bump iso kawkaw to compensate.
and weight.

slowly approaches medium format's weight and size shocking.gif

Sifus, any advice for a wireless remote shutter release? I've checked out the Canon RC-6 and LC-5 but the pricing for the latter is rather exorbitant.  icon_question.gif
*
try yonguo rf603, used them for 3 years now and still functioning well as both remote shutter release and flash trigger. really cheap too.

I've tried distances more than 1m (even more than 10m if i remember correctly) and they still connect nicely smile.gif
