yaya lifetime warranty. the seller told me that he changed the sensor for me prior to selling to me. apparently something to do with 5D classic not being a to-be-sold-in-malaysia unit when it was launched, hence all 5D classic sets were brought in from overseas. he told me 5D2 and 5d3 etc are sold by canon malaysia, 5D Classic tarak, dunno how true though...

Both my 5D2 are reaching 140k shutter.
Wait for 5D4 till it nearly reached its limit lol.

stopped lunging my DSLR(s) since graduating ... coming up to 3 years now 

now that friends left and right are tying the knot, been getting more requests to be the candid/backup photographer. what's left of my equipment is pretty old since I previously only bought used goods ... 2 x 1DmkIIn , 24-105 f4 L , Sigma 50 f1.4 and 2 x 580EXII

hands feeling itchy and since I'm too lazy to do much post-processing (noise reduction etc) , planing to add more loot to my kit

Now unsure what body to pair it to , brain says Canon 700D since I'm not a super keen photographer ... but heart says Canon 6D

Btw, anyone has the sigma 50mm f1.4 art lens? How's the performance? Thinking of upgrading from my current 50mm sigma lens. But no budget to go for L lens. Current sigma always off focus.

I'm into casual photography.. I'm looking into mirrorless because i traval alot lately.. So it is hard to carry bulky DSLR around..

At least I can reduce the weight right?

Or do you have any suggestions on mirrorless camera with good lense? I hope i dont need to pay alot of money.. I really love 15-85mm for its versatility.. So i dont mind carry it around with me..

Ohhh.. I thought EOS M did not need to use adapter with EFS Lense.. It's hard to depend on manual focus only.. Haha

Anyway, i dont have any specific requirement.. My budget is around RM2500..

Just the matter of time mate. I've never thought of Canon 11-24mm either. Impressive lens!
Skip Canon's 50mm, go for Siggy's 50mm f1.4. Only consider a comeback if you are into 50mm 1.2 or 1.0.
Unfortunately Nikon's 24-70mm comes with VR. I jelly max mang..... Nevertheless still loving my 24-70 II. Great walkabout lens.

guys, need some thoughts
if i have 1k to burn, which would be the better option

1) upgrade 5D Classic to 5D 2
better AF, better ISO, can tether, better sensor...

2) upgrade 24-105 F4L to 24-70 F2.8
faster lens to compensate the poorer low light capability of the 5DC...

I would upgrade body first.  I can't imagine shooting without my 6D and its fearless ISO capabilities.  No fear of not so well lit situations.  With this camera body you have no more excuses to why you didn't get a good shot and can only blame skills.  6D combo with 24-105 has been awesome!  A beastly combo already!  But sometimes I will leave this beastly combo at home and take my eos m because its just soso much lighter  

I just recently got a Tamron 24-70mm F2.8.  Only real difference is that 70mm f2.8 is more bokehlicious than 105mm f4.  So I don't have to bother switching to a prime lens to get that kind of photos.  Besides DOF I don't really see this highly rated Tamron lens outshining the Canon 24-105mm much at f4, f8 and so on.
