If you used a tripod I would have gone for a longer exposure though. How many secs did you set?

I actually search the history of the place
The first place is in Prague, which the bridge doesn't have much history.

The second bridge, its the famous Budapest bridge, built during 1800's century.

I actually looking for the best of the best place to shoot. I went over the road which shouldnt allow pedestrian to cross. But its 10pm no one is around. so i composite my shot with my camera first, then only mount my camera on tripod

3rd shot is the Budapest Parliament Building, very iconic architect they illuminate the river during the entire night.
Walk about 2-3km from the bridge to get the center of the center shot

Tried many shots.

I shoot first shot with the camera metering at the parliament.
with ISO fix at 100, f/11 then play with shutter speed about 15" to 13"

Then i found at 15" too bright then i lower down 13"

After playing with flash a bit understand ISO doesn't just mean about giving you exposure, it is about light sensitivity ,Higher give you minimal shadow. So sometimes low Shutter speed cannot fill those light for you. eventually you have to bump up ISO

What I meant was using a much slower shutter speed just to give the river a more creamy/glassy effect. But 13" is already very slow, probably not the best weather condition to create that effect. sad.gif

maybe this personal preference. Found those images composition can somehow been better...maybe not too wide or get a close up.....

e.g budapest brige.

Got the Ef-S 24mm f/2.8 pancake lens. (RM500 from lazada)
Gonna use that for my upcoming HK trip 2 weeks from now.
It's pretty sharp and it's darned light.

Well, once 5D4 comes out, 5D2 price will drop by 30-40%..
But 5D4 is something like Half-life 3 now, so many rumors but nothing solid on it's specs and when it'll be out.

If you're interested in 5D2,
I'm letting go one my older 5D2...
