Takes around 10-15 mins or 4.5-8km to the klang market (tm point) station on jln meru from setia impian n setia mall respectively at this hour of the day. Quite ok lah.

The traffic light is the killer om jln meru...

WCT bags RM840m LRT 3 contract

KUALA LUMPUR: WCT Holdings Bhd's unit has accepted a RM840mil contract from Prasarana Malaysia Bhd to undertake a package of the Light Rail Transit 3 line.

The construction and property company said on Tuesday its unit WCT Bhd had accepted the contract to undertake package GS03 – building the guideways, stations, park and ride and ancillary buildings – for the LRT 3.

The LRT package is from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia in Klang.

The works under the contract are expected to be completed within 33 months from the date of the letter of acceptance.

LRT3 is a double-track rail alignment of about 37km long with 26 stations covering the areas of Bandar Utama, Shah Alam and Klang, before ending at Johan Setia.

Malaysia now testing MLFF (Multi lane Free flow) or outside country known as ORT (Open Road Tolling) where the car don't need to even slow down to pay toll... xD

In MLFF, the toll device will detect transponder installed at car and deduct the toll price accordingly, if there's no transponder installed, it will scan the car plate to see if there is transponder registered and deduct from there, if really no transponder, it will generate bill to your house base on car registration address...

We don't know how long will it be test and when will officially introduce, but it means that Malaysia won't stuck at SmartTAG forever...
