theiir LRT line 2 is like forever. delay dunno how many years redi. i everyday have to suffer the jam due to their poor work, thanks to binapury!!
*
when did they start construction.. dis binapury is jus like georgi ken.. still wanna bid fr this LRT 3 after bad track record.

Underground portion is after stadium (grand central) n below persiaran hishamuddin..near d kayangan n stadium roundabout.. comes back up after a short while (maybe 1km)..next station (hishamuddin one) is near shah alam club..

Shortest underground portion in the world thumbup.gif thumbup.gif another award icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

Checked d, the station will stop at MPK there, the main bridge. so if wanna go KTM, very far walk. Hopefully got feeder bus system lor.

If thats the case they can build the station over the existing KTM station and loop back out towards the main bridge lor. Also, if you notice the Klang KTM station got some workshop shed kinda structure at platform 2 there can utilize that mah.

Then again maybe they cannot get approval or something la. A bit inconvenient.
*
Yeap duno how to do drop off there..yeap now its gona be a diff ballgame.

I also checked distance to the LRT station.. sentosa to sri andalas n pandamaran to tesco/andalas is only 3km.. so coverage is widened..

Underground station in pers hishamuddin is maybe cos its too close to sek 11 n dkayangan landed at tht stretch..
they shld build the track within the stadium n not pers sukan before the underground portion la.

Haha btw, do u think this LRT 3 will be able to attract shah alam ppl to use the LRT? this one reli cover the nicer part of shah alam aka sek 7 to glenmarie.. glenmarie/temasya industrial owners dun think lrt is worthwhile.. u think klang n shah alam ppl will take public transport if working in industrial thr?

instead of 2020, i predicting 2022, then its about 8 years from now. its depends malaysia by the time would be declare as 1st world or still stuck as 3rd world. I believe this LRT 3 is to create speculation and ICITY market at this moment of time.
*
Yes 2022.. now they say constructing strt by dec 2015 so 2016 strt 6 yrs+1 yr delay icon_idea.gif so 2022 sounds good..
main developer speculating on the LRT is i berhad..

If they give the plot to Naza, naza btr develop a lot of TODs beside the stations.. I know naz@ must be angry tht the stadium station is near emira/AEON side n not ttd sentralis.. they were trying to sell the service apartments thr for RM700psf at least if nt mistaken cry.gif cry.gif cry.gif

The jam there in the morning is really hectic. Sometimes I'm not sure if it is worth it to skip toll or to pay toll, whichever way you take, Subang stretch of Federal Highway will be jam packed anyway. Sigh... this is one main reason we need LRT/MRT in Klang Valley.
*
Yes the stretch n the toll free road also feels VERY long even if its nt jammed up..nt worth it fr me icon_idea.gif Federal cn also skip toll near i city thru puspakom road.. Kesas toll skipping is d most worthwhile one thru sri muda etc..

Prasarana shld build a monorail/BRT frm denai alam thru BJelutong to the stadium (intermodal station) thur sec 22 apartments (puri aiyu) n ending at KK or bukit rimau.. can really increase the ridership of the LRT.. BRT thru setia alam is needed too as setia alam will hv 80-100k residents in a few yrs time..

Yes, BRT is also cheaper to build and it is efficient.
*
but cn only carry 6k ppl per hour max i think.. good short term solution i guess.. big townships like setia alam n KK/BR n Alam impian need monorail.

btw, any new investment opportunities frm the alignment posted? icon_rolleyes.gif icon_rolleyes.gif

true, I Berhad sure have given some kind of extra premium for this line. Without this line, god knows who will buy since no car park for sales.
*
Yes the suites thr only depend on LRT to travel.. now d lrt nt so near

Btw, i jus realize LRT3 will pass thru upper class glenmarie with temasya anggun being as close as 30m to the track.. resident no protest kah?

glenmarie, the resident there most are pro government. I dont think so  nod.gif

Unlike PJ, most are ah pek, hence boycott until kidex turn turtle
*
Haha yeah.. Actually I think its btr for the Station to be located in front of kencana square rather than temasya n then cut back into glenmarie.. Fr now, LRT3 not connected with KTM which is a really bad thing.. Like i said earlier on, some klang ppl will still prefer to use the KTM to kl sentral (52 mins) but would use the LRT to transfer to the KTM..

My conclusion: too many stops in Shah Alam which will make it longer to get into the city icon_idea.gif icon_idea.gif

my opinion, LRT 3 and LRT extension is connecting selangor major city instead of KL.

travel among klang, shah alam, damansara, petaling, subang jaya, puchong, of course further will be KL
*
Good point also.. final part will be encouraging ppl traveling to areas like glenmarie (important office hub) to use the LRT la... Usually industrial companies will hv a lot of free parking, hence discouraging ppl frm using public transport..

I aso hope they can realign glenmarie station to be closer to KDU so it can serve kdu, poli & all the MNCs there..

That one very small portion of people only.. nobody want to save rm1.10 and get caught in glenmarie.

Workers number there is out of your imagination.

U can see the lunch crowd at glenmarie.
*
Yeap hundreds of MNCs thr..U think the temasya station is necessary? fr me both are necessary n more imp than sirim n pers hishamuddin laugh.gif laugh.gif

They're not connecting this with any ktm stations?

todays paper said NO.. only mrt n LRT.. now, this problem cn be solved if KTM builds another station near the MPK building to integrate both stations..

theorectically, you can walk 500m and reaches Klang KTM station from MPK  brows.gif

Boss.. hv u ever walked thr?? the only i reason i wld go thr is fr BKT.. the surrounding area quite dodgy leh.. if they build a bridge then diff story but they cn build d LRT station closer to the ktm la.. then cn build the bridge.

Wonder how long it would take from Johan setia to Bandar utama
*
1 hour minimum.. ive highlighted this problem b4... build it n let ppl use it n then move back to driving as they realize its too time consuming.. brows.gif brows.gif

List of stations tht r nt important:

Bandar Botanic, kawasan 17, sirim, persiaran hishamuddin, tropicana (PKR opis).. With 5 fewer stations, one may be able to save 10mins if they travel frm johan to BU.

Alternative thinking wld be LRT just for those working in i city/sek 14/Glenmarie/temasya/lien hoe/Du (which is in kayu ara)/BU/TTDI/Mutiara/KD or those who wana move over to the LRT in stn 7..

Singapore green line ( east west ) covering approx 30 stations from Pasir Ris to Joo Koon with a distance of approx 55km, the max riding time is approx 60-70min with the avg speed of 80km/hr.

we are talking about 35km, not sure how many stations but to me every proposed stations are equally important from the public perspective.
*
35km 25 stations.. Klang has few stations..

Do explain how is the pers hishamudin station important when the whole area is walking distance to the stadium station? its only 800m frm each other..
